How to unlock the Blammo! achievement in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 - Definitive Guide

This achievement sounds much harder than it really is.

If you have created a course using just hole #9 from St.Andrews i strongly recommend using that, I used that course and got it on the first try. If you can't use a custom course like that try to find a course with good flat greens and fairways such as St.Andrews itself.

I also recommend using a second controller for this achievement, it is much easier.

- Set the game up with muligans on and the tee set to expert.

- Land a nice shot on the fairway close to the green BUT not on the green!

- With the second player, keep driving the ball out of bounds untill the shot limit has been exceeded.

- I strongly suggest using the 3 click system, keep trying to land the ball in the hole from outside the green.

- Don't worry if you don't get it first time, just use a muligan to retry it and to get the shot better each time. Sooner or later you will get it in thus earning Bingo Blammo AND Bongo which will make the achievement Blammo! pop.

To get this achievement, you must hole out a shot from off the green, and do so before your opponent reaches the green.

I suggest doing this:

1. Play 2-player, controlling both players. You do not need to use your created golfer.
2. Pick a course with flat greens and a sizable "fringe" (the fairway around the green). I used St. Andrews.
3. Aim your approaches (both players) to land in the fringe, close enough to putt.
4. Whichever player gives you the first opportunity to putt, use him/her to make your attempt.
5. If you make the putt, ensure that your other player loses the "bongo" portion of the game. Just hit the ball all over the place, anywhere but the hole.

This can be frustrating, as you will occasionally hit the green accidentally, and you will miss a number of putts. I'm pretty good at my approaches and my putting, but it took me about 30 holes to get this.

I started on a par 3 and just did mulligans until I got a hole in one.

Then, I had the other person chip to the back of the green.

Ba-dink!

Bingo, Bango, Bongo is a game where you can score up to three points on any given hole:

BINGO - a point is given to the first player to reach the green.
BANGO - a point is given to the player who lands closest to the flag.
BONGO - a point is given for the lowest score on the hole, a win.

To get all of these at once, start a two player match. You can control both players through one controller. For the easiest setup, use the Custom St. Andrews Hole 9 course. Using your player, try to hit the ball onto
the fringe at the front of the green. (The fringe is the band of grass around the green, between the green and the fairway proper.) You need to be in putting range. You can use Mulligans if needed. Once in position, take the second player and drive his ball out of bounds. Do this 5 or 6 times so he excedes his shot limit.

Now all you have to do is sink the putt. It should be easy enough, but you can always use Mulligans if needed.
