To win this achievement, you must use an approach shot (typically, irons) and hole out your shot with 5+ feet of backspin. You'll want to hit the ball a bit long, but with your club face tilted backwards, so that it lands behind the hole and rolls back towards you and the hole.

Tuning your clubs to add spin makes this achievement a bit easier. (I typically tune my clubs to use no/minimal spin, so this achievement took me a while to complete, but it got it when eagling a par 4.)

Note that the spin mechanics seem a bit different from TW09 -- I do not get nearly the same amount of backspin on my pitch shots as in earlier versions of the game. I did not, however, try maximizing the spin factor on the tuned clubs; that may work.

Just want to add that the achievement won't fire if you've enabled mulligans (this goes for other skill achievements too...except the Mulligan's Island one :) )
