How to unlock the The Comeback Kid achievement in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 - Definitive Guide

The easiest way to do this is to select a course that you are comfortable with, shoot the first hole +5, and then do the remaining 17 holes in -5 or better.

I did this on St. Andrews with plenty of birdies to spare.

It should be noted that you do not want to do this with your created golfer. I forgot and after the round i got the achievement but my short game dropped to a 2.3.

Good call -- though you can avoid that if you just drive out of bounds a few times in a row on the first hole. If I recall correctly, the short game stat only kicks in when you're approaching the green from within 100 yards.

While there are a number of perfectly logical approaches to this achievement, I strongly recommend utilizing the create a course feature in a standard stroke play game.

St Andrews has a very short par 5 (Hole 5 - 454 yards) if you have reasonably strong stat lines already, as well as a 261 drivable par 4 (Hole 9) which you can interchange throughout the create a course and EASILY manage the -5 with a handful of eagles and basically guaranteed birdies.

This is probably a great boosting course for those trying to get 100 birdies/25-50 eagles achievement as well. Happy hunting!

make a course with par 3 holes only. hit +5 on the first hole. then complete the course in style to get the achievement. if you do it with gale force winds and only using minimum clubs (5 iron, SW and putter) you can get 2 more achievements for free!

This can be done in any 18 hole round. The easiest way to get this is to purposely shoot a 5 OVER for the first hole (an 8 on a Par 3, a 9 on a Par 4 or a 10 on a Par 5). This gives you a full 17 holes to get your score back into red numbers. On an easy difficulty and on a course you know, this should not be difficult.
