How to unlock the Best of the Best achievement in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 - Definitive Guide
For this achievement, you need to beat a EA Sports GamerNet Daily Challenge. To do this, follow these steps:
--GamerNet Daily Challenges can be found in either a "Play Now" round, "PGA Tour Season" round, "Ryder Cup" round, "Skills Challenge," or in a "Live Tournament" round and can be done with a "Created Golfer" or "Licensed Golfer."
--After choosing a game mode and starting the round up, push the "Start Button" and choose "Options." Scroll down to where it says "EA Sports GamerNet Daily Challenges" and make sure it says, "On."
--Now you will see a faint black flag on the fairways or a white-lined circle on the putting greens that say, "GamerNet Challenge." Beat any of the challenges and the achievement is yours.
*NOTE: GamerNet Daily Challenges are random, meaning you don't have any control over which challenges you get.
Achievement Unlocks as soon as you beat a challenge and not at the end of the hole or round.

Another frustrating achv for me. I must have beaten 20+ challenges in the EA SPORTS GAMERNET online area, whether it was Long Drive, Freestyle, 9-Hole, etc... but the achv never popped. I decided to start the Skill Challenge mode and on the the very first hole I beat the tee-off challenge and it popped.

As I stated above, you can not achieve a Daily EA GamerNet challenge in the EA GamerNet section because those are not daily challenges. So it was expected for you to not unlock the achievement when you played a challenge in Long Drive, Freestyle, etc. And that's why it was unlocked in Skills Challenge because it was not in the EA GamerNet section.

Edit: (Thanks: BlokeCDP) It seems like East Lake hole 10 is now a 425 yard drive. I'll leave my original solution up to show people how I found EL #10.
Okay here is what I did...
When going for your PGA Tour Season achievement take note of the courses with easy to beat Gamernet Challenges. Like mine was, hole 10 on East Lake. I thought to myself, man if I had Tiger Woods' power and a strong wind, that would be easy.
Use the options of White Tees and Gale Force winds.
Create a course with just that hole as the only hole to play for the first 9 holes. The rest was just random holes for filler. I got it on my second hole.
The challenges are mainly long drive challenges. And 90% of the time they are pretty unbeatable.
Now it could have changed by now but on East Lake Hole #10 is the one I got it on. Hole #5 was also "do-able."
If you vote negative, please explain why and I will fix my solution or delete it..thank you.

Thanks Andy, didn't know if East Lake #10 was still do-able...hopefully you didn't make it a new challenge so my guide still stands :)

In addition to JohnnyRogue's solution - when doing the "play now" option ensure you have mulligans turned off - if these are left on, no GamerNet Daily Challenges will appear.
I just got this after trying many many holes. I got it on TPC Sawgrass hole 2. (roughly 368 yard drive) there is alot of fairway to land on, you just have to get the right gale force wind and fade around the front trees a little. Took a while to get the right wind, but once i did got it easily on the first try.

The GamerNet Daily Challenges are the challenges that pop up when you are playing a single player round. As long as you are connected to the PSN, it will automatically download a Daily Challenge to the hole you are playing.
For par 4 or par 5 holes, it is typically a Long Drive challenge that can be beaten. If you are using Tiger Woods as your golfer, try to use the Focus Power Boost (tapping L1 or X during backswing) to get your power up to 110-120%. As the ball is in the air, push up on the L-Pad and keep tapping L1 or X to give the ball top spin, which will make it roll further. If your ball goes past the marker for the Daily Challenge, the trophy will unlock.

As you complete the holes, keep your eyes peeled for EA SPORTS GamerNet challenges. You can find out what competition is currently running and complete it. But most likely you will get it by accident.
