How to unlock the GamerNet Pack Rat achievement in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 - Definitive Guide

As of right now, the best way to earn quick points is either long drive challenges or 9 hole challenges. People post really easy challenges which you can beat for big money. If you have a buddy, you can create a course for a challenge on an easy par 4 (st. andrews #9) and create a whole course worth of just this hole. Eagle it 9 times (this should be simple if you've played any length of time on this game) and post the challenge as many times as you can. your buddy can play it and then submit the same course for you to play so you are always playing fresh unbusted challenges. 7 or 8 of these 9 holers should net you the achievement.

Works great if you have a spare profile too. I shot a nice -30 with the spare so it was worth 2500x2, easily beatable.

I just got this and the 5000 GN point achievements in about 15 minutes. Go into GamerNet and then Online Challenges. When you get to the menu, choose Long Drive Challenge. Then hit "Y" button to refine search to :

Course: Wolf Creek
Hole: 17

There is a multitude of challenges on this hole always being posted (As of 7/27/11), even the ones that have been beaten are still 600+ points, if you manage to bust one that hasnt been beaten it will be around 1200 points. These are very easy to accomplish, just wait for the wind to pick up to 20+ mph and hit a 100% drive. I did 15 of these and got my 10,000.

GamerNet points are earned by completing Daily Challenges in single player mode or GamerNet Challenges from the Online menu. Your best bet to quickly accumulate points is to do 9 or 18 hole showdowns. These showdowns range from beating a score of -3 through 9 with a 3 hole birdie-streak to scoring -22 with 18 GIR through 18. Based on your skill level, find a challenge that you think you can beat and play through trying to match all of the Win Conditions. If you are the first person to beat a challenge, you get 2X points which is super-helpful.

You can also find a boosting partner and create a custom-18 hole course of the same easy hole 18 times in a row. To do this, go to Play Now and select "Random 18" as your course and hit . Select St. Andrews Hole #9 as all 18 holes. Using Tiger, just hit a 3-wood off the tee with a little bit of top spin and you should find yourself with an easy eagle putt every time. Finish the 18 holes and you can submit your round as many times up to 6 times, which with a low score full of eagles, should only require 4 or 5 attempts to get to 10,000 points if you are the first to try it (thanks to Burnz23 for this tip).

There is a fairly easy way to boost this trophy. Create a second profile for yourself on the console, make a distance of 18 holes St. Andrews Hole #9 and feel free to upload it to Gamer.net as a competition. At one time, you can do a couple of such competitions with different descriptions. Return to the main profile and go through these competitions. Then you return to the alternative profile - erase them and make new ones. And so on until you get the required number of points. If you are too lazy to bother with profiles, then search by the name St. Andrews, quite a lot of people do this trick.
