Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters

Click the right thumbstick til you see 1/2 choke or full choke under your ball on the bottom right of the screen. ( you may have to manual aim first and if you change clubs it resets your grip to full by default so double check before swinging ) Like the 100 yard custom shot this cannot be done in Gamernet. I can confirm this as I landed 0.87 feet from the hole and no ach. So I would suggest going for it in Road to the Masters mode.


EDIT: Confirmed you can get it as early as the first round of the Holiday Cup which is the first 'tournament' you play in Road to Masters

EDIT 5/10/11 Some are getting this while using power boost or spin. I have had a friend and myself use spin and did not unlock this. So try using power boost first then if it doesn't pop on your next one don't use it

I got this achievement today and all i did was a 1/2 choke shot with no power boost, no spin in mid air and i landed around 3ft from the hole, i hope this helps

I think the wording on this might be misleading, or it might be a glitchy acheivement/. I understood that using choke, I needed to LAND the ball within 1 yard of the flag. I did this a couple of times and nothing popped. Then, when I was 52 yards out, I chocked a chip shot which probably landed 10 ft short, but with spin, rolled up to 1 inch - the achveivement then popped. So I think (from my experience anyway), its not land the ball within 1 yard, but rather have your ball finish up 1 yeard from the flag.
