After completing two Nationwide events (just after you start your career), you will be invited to Q-School shortly after. You cannot fail this invite or you will miss this achievement in year 1.

As said above, you only get one chance. If you're not going to pass, you either have to save before the end and restart, or finish it and start a new golfer.
