How to unlock the Jack of All Trades achievement in Titanfall 2 - Definitive Guide

There are 8 Loadouts that can be found in the singleplayer campaign of Titanfall 2. These weapons are scattered around the missions and can be seen by a big blue outline around said weapon. Each weapon also has it's own signature skills and core power and can be liked to several other achievements in regards to getting kills with core powers.

Here is a video and time stamps on where to find all these loadouts!

Edit*

Thanks to fembot, was missing 1 loadout tried this method and worked.
Thanks to emiloly for confirming multiple loadouts missing, tried it and worked.

There are 8 Titan loadouts, 2 you get through the story(Expedition & Legion), the other 6 you get by collecting their primary weapons on each level:
Blood & Rust: Tone
Into The Abyss - Scorch
Into The Abyss - Brute
Effect & Cause - Ion
The Beacon - Ronin
Trial By Fire - Northstar

xTGE posted a good video show all locations but if you miss any of these follow my method below confirmed by a few commentors

Just a little advice for some people:

At the end of the game I was missing Ions' loadout
I loaded up The Fold Weapon again and once

I went to my loadouts and Ion was unlocked and achievement popped.

I'm not sure if this works for just 1 loadout or numerous though. Please comment if you can clear this up.

Didn't work for me as I'm only missing the Ion, even went back and played the mission and got it, but no unlock

So what do you if you've collected them all and not got the achievement?

Good find. It makes sense that using Mission Select to play any mission from the beginning will have to assume you found all the previous weapons (it’s not like continuing from the last checkpoint). The pilot also has default starting weapons, and not the ones you had at the end of the previous mission.

Since you could play through the campaign without collecting a single weapon, and then restart the final mission and get the achievement, it brings into question whether the weapons are truly collectables.

This worked for me as well. I think I was missing two -- Ion and Northstar -- but everything was unlocked by the time I got into the titan in the last chapter. Thanks so much for pointing this out!!!

There are 8 titan load outs:
Tone - Blood & Rust
Scorch - Into The Abyss
Brute - Into The Abyss
Ion - Effect & Cause
Ronin - The Beacon
Northstar - Trial by Fire
Expedition - This is the first one and is obtained naturally at the beginning of the game
Legion - This is story related and cannot be missed. The new BT titan you call in during the final mission of the game will have this load out unlocked.

The load outs you need to manually pick up ( there are 6 of them) are sets of weapons outlined in blue. Most of them will be directly in your path, making them hard to miss.

If you've called in your new titan and forgot a previous load out, then it won't show up in your load out menu. However, you can still get the achievement. You should first go back to the corresponding mission and collect the missing load out. Then you should replay "The Fold Weapon" and call in your new titan. If all of the load outs are unlocked, then you will get the Jack of All Trades Achievement.

This trophy is for collecting all of BT-7274's Titan Loadouts that can only be found in the Campaign. This trophy is somewhat like a story-progression collectible, but it's not really a collectible trophy neither is it story related. You can still miss collecting these while you're playing through the campaign. There is a total of 8 Titan Loadouts for BT, and they can be found by playing through the campaign's main mission in sequential order. When you find new Titan Loadouts, they will literally be out in plain sight right in front of the main story related path that you would normally take to continue with the campaign's storyline.

You must be embarked with BT in order to pick up new Titan Loadouts. You cannot pick up new Titan Loadouts while you're disembarked playing as a Pilot. The new Titan Loadouts looks like a new Titan Gun, they will also be highlighted in a royal blue colored outline with an arrow and words saying, "New Titan Loadout". When you see this message, simply walk over the New Titan Loadout while inside BT's cockpit and you'll automatically pick it up. You can change Titan Loadouts by pressing the button while inside your Titan.

Below is a listing of all 8 Titan Loadouts that can be found in the Campaign:

  1. Expedition:
    • This is your starting Titan Loadout by default and you'll have it automatically when you restored BT's power back to 100% during Mission 2: BT-7274.
  2. Tone:
    • This Titan Loadout can be found at the very start of Mission 3: Blood and Rust. After the first area of enemies where you needed to kept both Lt. Shaver and Lt. Freeborn alive. Enter the IMC facility and the Ton Titan Loadout will be lying on the ground in the sewers. Be sure to walk over it so you can pick it up.
  3. Scorch:
    • This Titan Loadout is at the very start of Mission 4: Into the Abyss - Chapter 1. BT suggests taking a shortcut, along the way pick up the Scorch Titan Loadout, which is in front of the cave containing a large IMC facility.
  4. Brute:
    • This Titan Loadout is also near the start of Mission 4: Into the Abyss - Chapter 1. Shortly after picking up the Scorch Titan Loadout, make your way through the IMC facility and kill all Grunts and Titans in your way. You will come across the Brute Titan Loadout inside the cargo area.
  5. Ion:
    • This Titan Loadout is near the end of Mission 5: Effect and Cause - Chapter 3, where you need to fight two Legion Titans before you can extend the bridge to the Fold Weapon Prototype. After killing all enemies, enter the building where the Object waypoint is leading, but be sure to pick up the Ion Titan Loadout that is on the walls hanging on a rack. Some people might miss this one as it's not in plain sight unlike the other Titan Loadouts, but you will usually see it on your way back from hacking the bridge console. Additionally, it should be noted that you must press to Time Travel back to the past or you will not be able to see this New Titan Loadout!
  6. Ronin:
    • This Titan Loadout is at the very start of Mission 6: The Beacon - Chapter 1. Make your way to the Beacon and you will soon encounter a deadly poisonous fog, embark with BT so you're safe inside the cockpit. Then walk over to the new Ronin Titan Loadout that you see next to the destroy Titan in the poisonous fog.
  7. Northstar:
    • This Titan Loadout is found during Mission 7: Trial by Fire. After going up the elevator with Commander Sarah Briggs, you'll see the Northstar Titan Loadout right in front of you.
  8. Legion:
    • This is your final Titan Loadout by default and you'll have it automatically when you called in a new BT during Mission 9: The Fold Weapon.

What if you missed some Titan Loadouts?

If you happen to miss any Titan Loadouts while playing through the story. There is a way to go back and collect the Titan Loadout that you've missed. Simply replay the Mission(s) that has the Titan Loadout you're currently missing, then select the last mission that you're currently playing or unlocked such as Mission 9: The Fold Weapon. Make it to the part where you call in your new BT Titan for the Legion Titan Loadout, you should now have all 8 Titan Loadouts and the trophy will unlock.

This achievement is actually unmissable, despite being able to pass up the loadouts as you progress through the story (though these are literally thrown in your face, so you'd almost have to purposefully walk by them). At the end of the game when you get the "Titanfall!" achievement, this new chasis for BT will come with all the loadouts unlocked, even if you didn't collect them during the story. The very last loadout comes on that chasis as well, which is Legion. So you'll unlock the achievement at this point whether you actually collected them or not. The video below shows all of the locations.

You will find all the sets, except one, throughout the campaign. They lie right under your feet during the level, so look carefully, it’s difficult to forgive them, but it’s possible.

You will receive the last set according to the plot at the beginning of the last chapter.

I don’t know, maybe I had a glitch in the game, but I missed the “ion” weapon during the plot. But when I entered the last chapter, when finishing off trophies, after calling BT, this weapon was listed as taken. And that's how I got this trophy.

If you didn’t miss anything, then this trophy will be given along with the “Titan Landing! (Secret)” trophy, which is given according to the plot, not with everything at the beginning of the game, as written above, so don’t be alarmed.
