You'll find these annoying chaps a few floors in. They're easily defeated, you just need to touch them whilst you're in the air. Icarus Wings or Spring Shoes work perfectly.

Just use the SPRING SHOES item and, while standing next to the sangel, jump towards it. Another option is to use TOMAT REIN and perhaps Cupid will be hit by a tomato
