You have to complete all trials in one adventure to get this achievement.
It can be done in treasure hunt mode.

If you mixed adventures, as I did, just drive all speed demon parts as fast as You can in treasure hunt and You should receive the achievement.

@T4ndeta sure about doing this in treasure hunt? cause i tried it in treasure hunt and it didnt pop. So at Xibala i activated the clock on the ground and rode the bike into the dragon. once in i loaded up the PDA and choose the next section, Valgrind. Drove all the way down and into the valhala maze cause the door is already open to the end. All within the time limit and nothing. So could you confirm? Thanks

this achievement seems to be glitched to the point it's unobtainable for me, tried every solution still no chievo, might be completely bugged out on the backwards compatible version maybe? :(

Achievement unlocked for me (backwards compatible version playing on series X). Did it on my first playthrough. Got two achievements at the same time with Speed Demon III

Didn't unlock for me via backwards compatible. I did it on my second play through on master survivalist and did all 3 in order on the same save file. I already had the first two speed demon achievements but not the final one for the maze.

Just to add to those struggling to unlock this (especially back compat on the Series X) - my experience was I timed speed run 1 and was sure I got it in under 45 seconds. Speed runs 2 and 3 I was also sure I got them under par, but it didn't pop for me.

Some folks over on Xbox Achievements suggested re-running the 2nd and 3rd speedruns together, which I did - and the achievement popped at the end of speed run 3. It's worth trying that if it doesn't work for you 🤞

Complete all three Speed Demon achievements on the same playthrough of the game.

Speed Demon I
Southern Mexico: Drive into Xibalba in under 45 seconds.

Speed Demon II
Jan Mayen Island: Descend Valgrind in under 50 seconds.

Speed Demon III
Jan Mayen Island: Navigate the Valhalla Maze in under 40 seconds.

Can anyone offer some advice on this achievement? Ive earnt the three speed demon achievements, but earnt number three on a separate playthrough so did not unlock this one. Since i now cannot unlock the achievements to show that i have them on a second playthrough, and theres no on-screen timer so i know ive done it within the time limit, how can i go through all three areas knowing that i'll get it at the end. Obviously the last two arent so bad as they are quite close together but i dont want to go from Xibalba all the way to Valhalla in case it does not unlock. Any suggestions?

I got the Master achievement in 2 separate sessions as i forgot to do it in one go, however i only used the games autosave points when i reloaded the game, so think it counted it as one playthrough.

I've got the same problem as Alangelus. System crashed shortly after getting SD2. After starting up again I was back at the beginning of the level. Fairly sure I redid SD2 fast enough, did the tower stuff, got SD3 but not this one...

You must do the 3 speed demon challenges in order and in the same save file. If you don't your best bet is to load a previous save file just before the 1st speed demon challenge and play normally until the 3rd challenge.

All the timings are in the other guides, so I'll just mention the problem that I had.

If you get Speed Demon I, II and III on more than one save or you don't get them in numerical order (like I did ... got III first), this achievement glitches out.

I finally got it when I played through on HARD, I didn't go for the times, but because I only used 1 save file and did them in order (plus I already had them) the game must have registered them and I got the MASTER SPEED DEMON ... finally.

I don't think the difficulty has any say on whether this pops or not, I just happened to be doing it on HARD

Thanks for that Kev. This truely is a pain in the butt and has one of those unforgivable requirements in it ... speed trials that don't have a timer on the screen so you can see how you are doing.

Very useful tip. Thanks a lot. Fortunately I've read your solution before all Speed Demon challenges. I did all in order in just one playthrough. clap

Foolsandkings (great gamertag, by the way) just a comment on my observations while trying to get this one. I got mine out of numerical order "III" inadvertently first while trying to pick up the relic on the other side of the maze. My play through getting "I" glitched and I picked up "II" in Treasure Hunter Mode. While trying to get the Master achievement I found the following:
* As you stated the game must register all challenges on the same save file and in order. If you have "I" but still need "II and "III" I think you can do these in Treasure Hunter Mode from what I have read online.
* If you have "I", "II" and "III", you still need to meet the time constraints for these achievements. You must have gotten lucky and made the times without realizing it. I would recommend using a stopwatch to ensure there is no doubt and if the time is too close to call keep retrying until you have no question you made it under the required time.
* The constraints for "I" can only be satisfied if the game sees you opening Xibulba for the first time, which temple you trigger this at does not matter. Save before you solve the second puzzle and open the gate. This should always be your reload point until you meet the time.
*I am not sure if the time requirements for "II" is only for the first time you descend. I always reloaded so the game saw me as doing Valgrind for the first time.
*I am positive "III" can be gotten at any point. As I said I was trying to get the relic which is behind a timed door on the other side of the maze when I popped this one.

Sorry about the length of my comment, but this one was a big head ache for me.

1.) The first challenge is in Southern Mexico. At the main temple, make sure you have your bike parked outside the nearest exit. Once you solve the sundial puzzle and open Xibalba, the timer starts. Now, you must carefully drive into Xibalba. If you take it easy, you'll have plenty of time. Just make sure you go fast on the last stretch, as you need the speed for the final jump.
2.) The second challenge is in Jan Mayen Island. At the beginning of the level, you'll start at the top of Valgrind. Carefully drive your way to the bottom, pulsing the gas with cn_RT and braking with cn_LT to navigate the obstacles. Make sure to drive left around the gaps.
3.) The third one is also in Jan Mayen Island. Once you open the gate to Valhalla, you'll encounter a maze. The solution is to turn right, left, right, left, left and right. Near the end, you'll want to hit the jump with reasonable speed so as to make it, then you may swerve around the one. You should have plenty of time.

Once you have all three done, you'll unlock this achievement.
