Torment: Tides of Numenera

This works with companions. Be sure to make a save because this will kill them. I did it with Matkina because she only has a 2 cypher limit. So when you have acquired 8 cyphers, just transfer them to her (Erritis has a 2 limit as well)and she will overload and die and the achievement will pop.

Another easy solution, that can be obtained early in the game, is to: make a save, sell all your equipment to the a vendor in Circus Minor (the first area in Sagus Cliffs), and buy out the cyphers from the two vendors found in Circus Minor. After that you should die from having too many cyphers, pop the cheevo, then reload your save.
