After finishing the 3rd zone of an area, you will enter a Vortex Race where you pass through many gates to whip up a huge storm.
For this achieve, simply miss 20 or more gates and still finish the race. I recommend slaloming through them...going through one, then missing the next, going through the next one, etc. until to miss at least 20 (you have to keep count in your head). If you miss too many in a row, you will run the risk of falling too far behind and not finishing the race.

You will need to miss 20 gates in a vortex race and still create the vortex. At the beginning try to miss every other gate until you have counted 20. When you miss it makes a different sound than when you don't miss. Once you've counted 20 race as you normally would trying not to miss any more. This actually took a few tries to get as missing so many slows you down and you can end up losing the vortex race having to start over.
