If you miss one ring, you are automatically given a silver medal, so simply complete the race without missing any of the gates, and you will receive this achievement.

The vortex race first appears in Zone 2 of Double Wide Destruction. If you don't miss any you should get this. You can replay a level to get these trophies but you will have to replay all the zones in the level to get to the vortex race. Also you may want to go for the harder ones first as the races get more difficult towards the end.
