This is easiest to achieve in the game's earlier levels, when pieces of garbage, cones, flowers, and so on are in higher supply. Conversely, it is also easily achievable in the Ringling Village level (first British level), as you begin in a hedge maze and must collect dozen of bushes and hedges before you will become large enough to "escape" the maze.

Got this on Zone 1 of Double Wide Damage. I'd thought I had absorbed some but perhaps I was wrong. Just move fast and try not to stay in any spot so you don't absorb a flyer. May also be easier once you have the dash move so you can sprint away from them.
