On the Javelin event, get a good run up (at least 3 bars from the end of the speed bar) and throw the javelin, keeping the button held down until the javelin goes up 80 degrees out of the screen and spears a bird.

Do not cross the line (Foul) otherwise it will not work. You'll also get a 1000 points for doing it! The thing you spear looks nothing like a bird btw.

Here's a video to go with aWayOfLife's solution although the guy in the video uses less angle because he's got more speed.

How the hell did he get the speed bar that high!? I pressing the B button as fast as a human can and its nowhere near that!

I found it easier wiggling the stick left and right. Give it a go and I'm sure you'll be able to run quicker than trying to run on just one button. You only to get the yellow speed area in to the last 3 blocks to hit the bird though.
