Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

My advice for anyone getting the game a fair time after its release date is to just keep trying on a later mission in either campaign.
Many people rent a game then don't bother completing it.
You have better chances doing a 2nd mission in an area (The type that you can only unlock once youve medaled in each area).
I checked my scores after the first level I was about 39,000+ but when I had played each mission I found that I was 2nd in one after my first attempt.

If your aiming for a highscore in time, don't worry about score.
If your aiming for score, DO worry about time. No need to rush but any longer than 12 minutes and your score won't be updated to the leaderboards!

Also go for Decpticon missions as the majority of people tend to do Autobots first.

In short, Later level of Decepticon campaign, pick a 2nd misson for an area (unlocked by completing all others in the same stage) and don't forget that you can get it in either TIME or SCORE.

Edit: One more thing, when going for score, try killing enemies different ways to see which gives the most points. Advanced attacks are good both for your score and filling your overdrive meter. Overdrive kills are also worth a fair bit of energon too.

Note that Expert mode isn't available without purchasing the DLC pack. You can still try give this a go in Normal mode but I made this solution for the Expert difficulty so please don't down vote if you don't have the DLC.

I am very new to this game and had no idea on controls or how the game was going to be for the top 1k in the SP leaderboard. But with this video I found on youtube, I got in the top 1k first try!

First you'll need to start a new campaign as Autobots and select 'Expert' difficulty. It seems on that, their are less leaderboard scores on Expert mode making the top 1k achievement easier to obtain.

Load up the first mission that will be 'Autobot Training' and Watch the video as you go along, pausing to watch what he/she does. Then pausing the video and doing it yourself step by step. You don't need the platinum to get the achievement, you'll need a gold minimum. Following the video, I got in the top 1k with a rank of #701 in the world with a time of '5:39:55'. So you can imagine their is a lot of room for error so don't worry too much.

An easy mission to get this on even this late is "Down With History" in East Coast Downtown in the Decepticon campaign. Play as Megatron and start by hitting the skill shots and damaging the museum until it's very low. Then spend all your time killing Autobots with headshots, advanced melee, and other point-heavy means.

When the timer reaches 5:30, take out the museum. You should have enough bonuses to easily beat 76770, which is the score to beat as of Feb 13 2010. I scored over 100k and I'm not a great player.

I Got told by Spilner101 to hit the Guide Button on Decepticon Training mode. Everytime Soundwave talks hit the Guide Button to save time till he quits talking then start and keep doing everytime he talks.

The other guides listed here are pretty good, but I got it pretty easily on the Autobot Training mission. In fact, it is the only mission I have played so far (besides some of the MP stuff). I happened to start on Expert (still can't decide if I do the Expert play through first or the All Platinum one first).

Anyway, the score requirement is super easy to get - but you do have to finish with at least a medal or it will not count. I got 59,500 score with a silver medal and it was only the third time for me to play through this mission - the first time I took a super long time, the second time I just rushed through it. The third time I made sure I got better kills to get higher points.

I was really worried about this achievement being that the game has been out for so long, but heck this was super easy.

This achievement is not that bad to do. Even if you got the game much later than everyone else.
Do Decepticons campaign all the way to the end.
Go on the mission, The Guns of Cairo
Play as the starter Decepticon (Long Haul I believe)
At the start of the mission head forward and shoot all 5 time bonuses. 50+ seconds stopped. They are all easy to find as they are in the middle of the map near the objective. Once you know where all the time bonuses are, restart so you can get them knowing where they are now. Once you hit all 5 just kill the Autobots with your main weapon and as soon as the shield goes down, walk up with your flame thrower and go to town. Don't worry about the shield coming back because it will knock you back. Then switch back to primary weapon and kill 2-3 more Autobots. Rinse and repeat until you're done. I got 32 seconds I think and I made rank 200 something. Before this I hit 58 seconds and was rand 2000.
So keep it under 40 seconds and you should have the achievement. It might take a few tries, but you can do it :) Also I had all upgrades so that might help some people out. If you want all upgrades, just play the last level over and over.

I know this solution is kind of long but it does work so if anybody is having a hard time understanding this, let me know so I can try to fix it and help :)

The best solution in my oppinion (beside this one now) is Subbota.

Thanks to his solution this achievement was very easy for me but I have made it even more easy if you follow these steps.

I played on Normal
The map is Down With History, its the first mission in the east coast.
You are going for top score. (You can check the leaderboard and press Right trigger to change it to track score instead of time and then to filter to see were you are press Y button).

(You should in the beginning of this guide not kill any enemies)

Use Megatron because of his ability (Y) Button.

I also recomend to upgrade ADv. Melee Damage all the way before this mission. Also Melee Damage, and Health is also good because you dont have to run away to heal up.

For perfection:
You start by taking the first 2 things that will give you 10 seconds extra. (Easier if you already know were all 5 are wich doesnt take long time to figure out) Then use Megatrons vehicle for extra speed straight towards the cube in the middle close to the museum and take another 10 extra seconds. Now when you reach the museum you use Megatrons special ability and aim at the museum (Y-button). Then you walk right while shooting at the museum. Then you should take the next 10 extra seconds. Now continue to shoot at the museum while walking right and behind the museum. (Change to the other weapon if the first one gets overheated).

Anytime now you can use Megatrons ability you do it and shoot at the museum.
Take the last extra 10 seconds. Walk left while shooting (because on the right side there are more enemies shooting at you) and continue use (Y) button whenever you can.

Now the museum have about 75 % or less health.

Now instead of lower the museums health you just go towards the cube and around it, kill enemeies this way: Use RT to go to vehicle mode. Hold down X button and use boost if you want to go quicker by also pressing A button. Drive towards an enemy on the ground and just release RT to get an advanced kill. This boost the overdrive dramaticly. And whenever you can continue to use Y button and shoot at the museum to decrease its health.

Now just continue to use RT and X (release RT) when close to enemy on the ground to boost overdrive. And whenever you can use Y botton and shoot at the museum.

The reason I like you to kill sooner is that you get so many points and while killing this way you get the overdrive full and you use it when its full with LB and just kill as many enemies you can. (Try to shoot at the head and when they are flying for extra points) You also get 6000 points for the one on the roof when in overdrive).

When the time is 5 minutes make sure that the museums health is very low. Like 3 millimeter and then make the best out of the time by continue killing autubots.

When the time is 5 min 45 seconds i suggest destroying the museum and it should not take many shoots because you have left it with such low health.

(If you get low on health just drive away and heal up but this makes you loose time).

I am top 200 something right now and can probably increase my ranking much more by using this method.

This one has got a lot more difficult if you are playing it years since its original Release. my suggestion is clear the game and then play the final level until you get the achievement. I got the other two this way but not this one quite yet. Be sure to do all your upgrades. And id suggest using megatron as his special drains the bosses health.

I got ranked #2684 (yes not in top 1000 but still popped) using this method and going for the score. Score was 98,000.

Replay the Deception Mission 'The Guns of Cario'.

- Play as Long Haul
- Use your Primary weapon (bombs) to take out the 2 autobots that attack you (You will never have more than 2 at once). Try for variety of attacks e.g. mele, overload.
- Use your flamethrower to take out the Axiom Gun's energy bar low
- Fire all time bonuses for extra 10 seconds each.
- Use Y button 10 times for bonus.

You need a bronze medal within 12 minutes for it to count so at 11:30 destroy the Axiom Gun. Using this method you will kill 70-80 autobots easy and hopefully get into the top 1000!

Alot of people cheat/glitch in this game, so many of the highest scores dont deserve to be there. You will notice mission times like 2-3 seconds for the whole mission.

I got it by finishing the Autobots last mission using Breakaway to beat the fallen. With the 5 skill shots, I beat it in 1:54, Could probably do faster. Just use your Beam Rifle. Stay far back, and go for headshots. Beat my time, Easy achievement.

What I did was to to the last mission on the autobot campaign

(Rise of the fallen)

As breakaway the second you spawn in headshot the fallen with your sniper until he teleport’s for the first time.

Once he has teleported fly to your left where the first 2 skill shots are and shoot them. After that headshot the fallen with your sniper again.

Then go to the next face of the pyramid and shoot the next two skill shots and then snipe the last skill shot remaining and then all you have to do is headshot the fallen until he is dead.

I managed to get 36th on the global leaderboards doing this with a time of 26.95 seconds

Note this guide is for anyone who is playing this game many years after its release 14 years to be exact 💀
