How to unlock the Traitor achievement in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - Definitive Guide

This is one of those 'once you know how to get it done' bosses.. It's not difficult.. just if you forget or not notice he's at the top, you could be killing grunts forever..

I went through this a few times to see any pattern. It seems to go on his health bar. the fight also has a loop pattern..

Part A - he's at the top of the tower, judge his waypoint to see which side he is on, he is always facing you at the very start of the battle. just lay in to him with both guns til he teleports to another side (you could try your special as a first shot). once his health is down enough. he will trigger a 'cutscene' where he'll teleport down to fight you..

Part B - Now he's down with you, he'll attack with a flame column attack.. just boost to the side to avoid it, then return fire with your main/secondary guns, til another 'cutscene..

Part C1 - The Fallen will call in his lackeys, just kill these, just don't get close to the 'Long Haul' types & ones with twin rocket launchers on their shoulders, they have a stun attack which could spell trouble with enough of them.. Once these are done with... another cutscene!

After repeating Parts A & B (& C1, til he's on low health) we get...

Part C2 - for ease, this is as Part C1, except now the Fallen is up at his perch, so just concentrate on him, just watch your health..

A powered up Megatron will only do two 'laps' to defeat the Fallen, but Long Haul (on replay mode) takes an age, could be 3 or 4 times, and the Fallen is down to half health as I'm playing this, the other characters are much more effective

Defeat The Fallen (final boss) playing as Megatron, to finish the Decepticons campaign.

For the campaign's final boss, The Fallen is surprisingly easy to defeat and achieve a Platinum medal once you know how. At the start of the mission move to within range of him (he will be at the top of the pyramid) and get off as many headshots as you can. After a number of hits he will fly off the pyramid, hover and attack you three times. During each of his hovering phases again hit him as many times as possible, don't worry too much about evading his attacks but if you do find yourself very low on health either shoot one of the level's Skill Shots or run and hide for a few seconds). On your first playthrough he will probably still be alive at this point and will now disappear while a few waves of generic enemies enter the fight.

Once you have dispatched these he will re-appear at the top of the pyramid, so just like the very start get within range and lay into him with headshots. After a number of hits he will move to another side of the pyramid, so just follow him around and attack again. If he is still alive he will move a third time, again follow him around to finish him off and start the campaign's ending cut scene.

When you replay this mission (either for the Platinum medal or to grind Energon) use Sideways and attack from the start with his Sniper Rifle, with practice it is possible to defeat The Fallen within 30 seconds or less.
