Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince

Story-related and cannot be missed.

This trophy is for completing the third level in Act IV, The Gossamer Grove. At the end of this level, however, you'll have to face the Princess Zoya boss, after which the trophy will pop. This is the last of the one-character fights and in this case, you'll only be able to use Zoya. For info on how to defeat her, see below or watch the video:

In this fight, it seems that you can only use Zoya so unlike others where you can change characters when one dies, here you've only got one life but honestly this is the easiest (and most fun!) boss fight in the game so you don't need to worry that much. At the beginning of the fight, Princess Zoya will have a white ice shield around her and 3 items that float around her. Shoot a fire arrow at her to break her shield and after a couple shots, you'll notice that those 3 items will now have rings on them that you can grab with your rope. The strategy in this boss fight is to bring down all 3 items.

Grab one of the items (doesn't seem to matter which) by pressing and pulling it down. It'll fall and break, changing the fight. As soon as the first breaks, phase 2 begins where she will cause large purple rays to cover a big portion of the screen, sometimes horizontally, sometimes vertically, sometimes both! You have the rings up on the ceiling to use to avoid being hit by her rays.

After that dies down, she'll return to her previous phase but this time with a flame shield and one less item. Shoot the shield with an ice arrow, rinse, repeat. This time in addition to the purple, she'll make the ground turn green and deadly, so again use the rings to avoid the rays. This time though her second phase is much shorter.

Finally she'll come out once again, and this time it's very, very quick, hit her, grab that third item and that's it, the fight is over.
