1 placements = finishing first. This requires you to win an Online game with max points for winning all 3 maps, with 24 points in the tournament total. I'd recommend using the Shockwave and the Straight Shot passive as you can drive the ball hard and fast and line up long shots & hit the ball way harder than normal hits at max boost. A lot of players seem to rely on the Sticky powerup to just carry the ball straight into shortcuts & optimal routes.

I got three 1sts in a game and the achievement didn't pop...

Achievements have been super buggy both for the game and for Xbox lately, you might want to do a cache clear before you try again
