Finish ONLINE matches without sending your car or ball out of bounds, must finish within time, DNF does not count as a finished match. You don't have to be first, just finish. Some levels are easier than others. This happened naturally for me, but might take some time as you get used to the levels. (The Magnet power up may help you in a pinch if you see your ball going off course.)
