This unlocks for both players in the party*
*Edit - it may unlock for all in the party. However in my personal experience- if you have a party larger than 2 the achievement might only unlock for the host. (I had a party of 3 and we each had to be party leader for the achievement to unlock)
Hit X to bring up friends list, then X again to create party, then invite friend(s).
It should unlock as soon as a server is found. You don't have to even play the holes.

Incorrect on host only. I accepted an invite from a random I'd been in a match with & the 'chieve popped for me as soon as the next match started loading.

Interesting, 3 of us only got it when we each individually hosted. This game is buggy as hell right now.
