How to unlock the ME=1337² achievement in TV Show King - Definitive Guide

Not as hard as it sounds (although there are the occasional questions that are tricky even for Google searches). Start a 9 round game in classic mode on EASY. When the game starts, make sure to answer every question correctly. If you come to a question you are not 100% sure the answer to, pause the game and Google the answer. Once you have it, un-pause the game and answer it correctly. Keep repeating this method until you finish the entire game (including face-off round). Once you finish the entire game with every question right, then the trophy will pop!

This is by far the hardest trophy in the game and, as is usually the case, must be at least gold. You need to go through 9 rounds, answering absolutely all 63 questions correctly. The task is complicated by the language barrier and orientation towards the “decaying West” with its TV shows like “The People’s Idol”. Most of the questions, of course, are from general knowledge, but when they ask who won such and such a season of such and such a reality show in England, or which pop group occupied the leading lines of the charts in the USA in such and such shaggy years, it definitely confusing. Plus, you need to know English well enough (at least at the Upper-Intermediate level) to immediately read and understand the question.

As for the process of answering questions, here are my tips:

  • There is no need to play on four controllers - this will not give any advantage in time, but will only deprive the computer of additional help.
  • Sequence of actions for the correct answer: take a photo of the screen with a digital camera, pause, look for the answer immediately in English Google . First of all, give preference to the English Wikipedia page that was published upon request - I found most of the answers there, but sometimes I had to go to completely different sources, left-wing articles (usually related to questions about the animal world), sometimes to Russian Wikipedia and Russian articles. Sometimes Yahoo Answers and the like help. It is best to look for answers to questions about TV shows, musical hits, and performers in foreign Wikipedia. Answers for films on the IMDB website. When you find the answer, compare it with the options on the camera display and unpause the game when you clearly decide which answer you are choosing.
  • I have repeatedly had cases when, as usual, without expecting the options of my opponents, I myself searched on the Internet for the answer to a question, answered before everyone else, and THREE chose one wrong answer - only I chose the correct one, because I did not follow their example. So be careful: choose the same answer as everyone else ONLY if you couldn't find the answer on the Internet.
  • Beware of questions on the topic of higher mathematics and geometry - sometimes it is not possible to find answers to them. I have a sad experience on this topic: two times in a row, because of a mathematical question, I missed the trophy when I was almost in my hands. Usually this question arises closer to the 9th round in order to increase the difficulty of an already difficult trophy.
  • Additional complexity is presented by questions that need to be “erased” ( Scratch Quiz ) and “enlightened” ( Light Quiz ). With erasing questions it is still not so difficult: as soon as the countdown begins, with sweeping movements erase exactly the area that is needed at least to reveal the beginning of the answer to the question, pause, prepare the camera, remove from pause and take photographs. But with questions that need to be “clarified,” unfortunately, you can’t do anything - take a photo of the question itself, find a clear answer on the Internet, and use the allotted time to find the answer using a “flashlight.” Questions like these pose additional risks, so stay focused.
  • Last but not least is a note about the “Face-off” - the final game between the two finalists. While working on "ME=1337²" it is extremely risky to play the final game - the computer may answer even before you have time to take a photo of the screen, and goodbye to 63 correct answers and at least 2 hours of wasted time. To prevent this from happening, by the end of the 9th round your place in the player rating should be 4th or 3rd. To do this, you should always try to answer the question last in order to get the least amount of money. And don’t spin the wheel for anything, because you can get a double or other bonus for your money - be a gray mouse.

All of the above certainly helped a lot. However, there is one more thing worth mentioning:

  • Choose 9 rounds and be sure to have the Easy difficulty level, the questions will be easier, and the opponents will be the same as in Genious (tested several times), so there is no point in choosing the Genious level.
  • Try to be in 4th place, because then you will be given a choice of topics, and this is very important. Favorable topics for questions are General Knowledge, Movies, Music and Sports - as these are the easiest to find on the Internet.
  • I also suggest starting the first round “forced”, i.e. don’t worry and answer like everyone else, and spin the wheel - because you may get lucky and get “Bankrupt”, and if you are unlucky and you win money, you can replay, because this is only the 1st round.
  • And most importantly, I wrote down all the questions that came my way in Word. Therefore, before looking for an answer on the Internet, check if your question is in this thread .

In theory, the trophy is the most difficult in the game, but in fact it is not that difficult to get. after the question appears, try to grasp the essence, press start to pause and google or wikipedia will quickly help you find the answer! if the question sounds like it won’t be possible to type it into a search engine, then just wait until your opponents give their answers! 95% of the time, when two out of three give the same answer, it is correct
