How to unlock the Sweep the Leg achievement in Two Worlds II - Definitive Guide

To get this achievement you have to use the Warrior skill Humbling Blow. I found the skill book in the Dragon Slayer's Den, while on the mission Dragon Carapace. I'm sure you can also buy it from a store somewhere. To use Humbling Blow you must be in Defensive Stance (Holding LT), and then you just press X. If the enemy gets knocked down, then you only need to do this 29 more times. It's not a guaranteed knockdown, but increasing the skill's level will increase the chances of knocking the enemy down. When the enemy is knocked down, you can perform an instant kill (If you're using a sword or polearm) by attacking him while he's down. This is not required for the achievement, however.

Also note that the skill says it's only effective on humanoids, but I was able to knock an ant down and instant kill it. I don't know if this actually counted as a knockdown, though.

You can check how many enemies you've knocked down (As well as a bunch of other stuff) by opening your Reputation Log and scrolling down a bit until you see "Combat Stats." You can find your Reputation Log by opening your inventory and selecting the chest icon. The Rep Log should be the near the top.

If you're going to downvote, I'd appreciate it if you took 30 seconds and told me why. Thanks!

This is a pretty worthless skill, IMHO, so I made a savepoint, then used all the skill and attribute points I was saving to boost the Humbling Blow skill. I attacked a Varn camp and isolated one or two and kept knocking the same Varn down until I had 30 knockdowns. Then I un-did the skill point allocation by re-loading the earlier save.

It seemed to me that advancing into the opponent and facing him made it more likely I'd get a knockdown.

I did this around level 26, when Varns were reasonably harmless and I'd saved up a lot of skill points for just such an occasion.

i will not reiterate what has been said in the previous guides, if you have finished the game like i had and realised that a lot of the humanoid enemies are dead i have found a straightfoward way of getting this achievement fast

if you travel to Tir Geal(swamp on the big island)and find Spurius(you can probably do this with others as well) and use humbling blow on him he will not get injured and you will not have to worry about guards coming after you, you can use the reputation log to keep track of the achievement

NOTE:it is advisable to upgrade humbling blow to 10(go to a soulpatcher & get one regression if needed) and to use this have you weapon equipped, hold LT and then press X.

This one is very confusing because there are no indications in the game as to how to use it. First, you need to find or buy the skill book Knowdown (Humbling Blow, per mindphluxnet). I'm not sure if it works with any kind of weapon (except for staff and bow), but it definitely works with swords. When you're facing an enemy (only bipedes!), press LT and X. The player's character will then perform a kick. If it works, the foe will be thrown on the ground. That's a knockdown. Do not panick if it doesn't, because there's a percentage of chance for it to work, depending on your statistics. For better chances, invest some skill points in that perk when levelling up.

You can keep track of your statistics by pressing B (when no weapon is equiped).

The description might be confusing to some, since there's no skill or spell with the name "Knockdown". However, the achievement icon reveals the true name: "Humbling Blow". Just use it all the time and hope it actually knocks the enemy down. After 30 successful uses, the achievement is yours.

To be able to use Knockdown, you must first acquire the skill by either buying the skillbook from a shop, by finding it in a chest, or by receiving it as a reward for a quest.

Once you unlock the skill, draw your weapon and then enter your blocking stance by holding , and while in this stance press to perform a Knockdown. You will kick forward with the chance of knocking an enemy to the ground.

I highly recommend upgrading this skill to it's maximum. Not only will it make acquiring this trophy easier, it is a fantastic skill for killing strong enemies easily.

Use the Knockdown move against all humanoid enemies (two legs, human height) whenever you have the chance and you should have this by the time you finish Chapter III. The Knockdown move does no damage, so you can kick down the same enemy 30 times. When an enemy has been knocked to the ground, you can kill it with one stab, although this is not required for the trophy.

This stat can be followed by visiting your Reputation Book in your inventory.

To get the trophy you need the ability (to find or buy a book). Upgrade the ability (better to level 5 in order to shoot down the enemy more often). Works on humanoid enemies (Varnas, Thunders, Mummies, Stone Guards, Skeletons), but will not work on animals. I got it on mummies in the sewers of Cheznadar, used the ability, waited until it recovered and hit again, the main thing is that after the enemy fell, do not use the finishing move, but wait until he gets up. Thus, the trophy can be obtained on one enemy.

We play as we want first. We save different saves. the bigger, the better.

load one save, reset any tolants. we buy a book..

pump up to 10. run to the lone enemy. We hit him once (with a knife, an ax, a sledgehammer), and then kicked him. the enemy fell. If you do it right away, it won’t work. we get a trophy. The main thing is not to save. load the desired save and continue playing. save the trophy and your money
