Yo-ho, Yo-ho!

Reach 100 points of reputation amongst the pirates

1.2%

How to unlock the Yo-ho, Yo-ho! achievement in Two Worlds II - Definitive Guide

This achievement can be missed!

To achieve 100 rep points, you need to complete missions for the pirates. Some are plot related and can't be missed, others must be activated at a certain time or they'll be missed entirely. Upon completing a mission by talking to the quest giver, your rep will go up 8 points in average.

The quest Scientific Revolution requires you to harvest 3 units of saltpeter from the spitting plants. This is a rare drop, and you can actually run out of plants, so keep at least 3 saltpeter until you've finished the quest or you might void yourself of this achievement.

These are the missable side quests. Beware, there be SPOILERS!!!

- Silk Gown: Received from Cutter, quite early into the story. A straightforward fetch-quest.
- The Mysterious Case of a Lost Chest: Received from 'Jerry' on the beach, early into the story. Just follow the markers on your map.
- Pirates Don't Cry: Received from Billy, after you temper with the ikayorte. Follow marker, kill, fetch, return item.
- Scientific Revolution: Received from Cutter, after completing the ikayorte quest. The grom scientist is one of the petrified humanoids in the Stone Garden, you should received the prompt to rescue him when you're near him. Note that the quest continues with Cutter in tow after you received your first batch of rep points.
- Dice Challenge: Received from Billy, after killing the Basilisk. Beat him at a game of dice of your choice. You need to quit the game manually when on a winning streak, or it might go on God knows how long. I had won over 6000 aura off him and he still wasn't going to quit.

Once you've re-united Captain Teal with his soul, you should have 100 reputation points, and the achievement unlocks.

Nice guide, thanks. Can I just add: when you're at the story driven quest for ikayorte and you're stood on deck drinking with the pirates, after the toast, you can talk to all the pirates again for more reputation. I was at 99 rep just before I finished re-uniting Capt Teal with his soul.

Also: make a save before you play dice with Billy. You need to beat him first try so you can reload easily and get straight back into it. As soon as you've beaten him, quit out.

I can confirm that n0odles is correct, there are more opportunities to obtain pirate points than is needed. The second part of the Scientific quest glitched on me, and I still managed to obtain the achievement.

I did all of these quests and ended up with 96 points at the end. I don't plan on going back to get this though, a lot of work for 1 achievement.

Also, After killing the first monster, and before I went into Teal's cabin, I got a quest from the drunk for making moonshine - Glass Jar - which when completed awarded me 8 points.

The trophy is cumulative

By completing pirate quests you gain reputation in the pirate brotherhood, you need to get 100%

I received the Lovers' Conspiracy trophy after finishing all the secondary quests. Progress can be tracked in the reputation menu.
