Just go through the exercises and routines until you complete 1 hour of workout.
I would suggest that you run the clock on the exercises, since at begginer difficulty you should have no problem finishing them in half the time, but it will not help you to reach the goal.
if you get bored just do some hit the mits or some sandbag and stand there, you can set it to 5 minutes.
The time there counts as well, but you can do nothing

Also, it isn't 1 hour at once. It is a hour played total. It popped for me after logging in and about a minute after starting a program.
