How to unlock the We Don't Need No Magic! achievement in Ugly Americans: Apocalypsegeddon - Definitive Guide

This is a pretty simple achievement to get. Just play through the whole game without pressing RT to activate the Special Attack and you're golden.

I did this from the start of the game, basically because I didn't know what button the special attack was and I never really got into enough trouble to need it.

EDIT: Thanks to mrzog69 for letting me know that it's possible to just replay levels with a maxed out character and still pop the achievement.

I'm not 100% sure as I just never used a special attack until I completed the game. I've heard it said that you can just replay each level without using a special attack and it will count, but I'm not sure.

I wish I knew that when I started! Would have made it a bit less stressful.

Can this be unlocked in co-op, in which I ask a friend to help spam RT whenever possible when I refrained from using it throughout. I've problems only on Level 11 actually. 1-10 was rather easy with a high level character and the demon's head.

Ok, never mind, I got it. I can confirm that this can be unlocked with a friend by your side, and he can use RT. I just did a boss fight with a random on Live, and didn't use specials at all. My co-op partner used powers once or twice. When we defeated the boss, this achievement popped for me.

I got this achievement really easy. I waited until I was max level and got the demon head projectile and used the birdman baby. I flew through the levels. The last fight was tricky due to trying to hit the outer eyes at an angle, but it made it exceptionally easy.

Nice guide and effective weapon/demon combo indeed. I flew through the levels too :).

If you can get someone who already has the Demon Head to give it to you, it will save A LOT of time and grinding to get the files and XP. With the Demon Head you can beat all stages with a very low level character.

When you get to level 60 the game glitches out and is pretty much unplayable. Like Gunstar419 said, get the Demon Head projectile (pick up 7 hidden case files or get it from a friend) and you will have no problem!

To use a special attack you have to press so accidently pressing the button will not be a problem. It is possible that you could get this trophy online, especially if you're playing with another person that has a powered up character and uses their special attack often, but to be on the safe side I would use your special attack online and go through each case file again on your clean up playthrough without using your special attack. Also, if you didn't use a special attack in a certain level online, you don't have to replay that level for this trophy.
