You can try for this over the two playthroughs you need to get the difficulty trophies, if you do not get it naturally there is more advice below but the weapon is good to use and common in the later stages of the game.

This trophy will pop after successfully killing your 50th enemy with the M4. This gun features prominently in the latter half of the game, you will earn this trophy sometime during your two mandatory playthroughs.
