You can get this achievement when Kavin finishes making the Chicken Rasam and assumedly contacts his mother, when they begin cooking together. You can do this easily in two parts:

To make the dosa
There is a flavour text at this recipe - Press and select the middle text - "About Dosas"
1. Add the water on the stone
2. Reduce the heat
3. Add the batter
4. Spread the batter - you have to turn both analog sticks for this to spread
5. Add oil
6. Turn the stove up high
7. Click the dosa flipper to flip the dosa
8. Use dosa flipper again to plate the dosa

Now, Venba will teach Kavin to make Oothappam:
Note: If you leave the chillies off the toppings, you will earn the achievement:


To make the Oothappam
There is a flavour text at this recipe - Press and select the middle text - "Healthier modifications"
1. Put water on stone
2. Reduce the heat
3. Add the batter
4. Spread the batter - you have to turn both analog sticks for this to spread
5. Add ghee
6. Add whatever toppings you would like except the chillies - I added everything except the chillies and the achievement tied to this popped for me
7. Turn the heat up
8. Use the dosa flipper to flip
9. Use the dosa flipper again to serve the oothappam

For the final dosa:
There is a flavour text at this recipe - Press and select the middle text - "What does 'kari' mean?"
1. Put water on stone
2. Reduce the heat
3. Add the batter
4. Spread the batter - you have to turn both analog sticks for this to spread
5. Add ghee
6. Turn up the heat
7. Add the beaten egg
8. Add the Kari
9. Add the coriander
10. Use the dosa flipper to flip the dosa
11. Use the dosa flipper to serve the dosa

Once you have completed the third, Kavin and Venba will talk and the achievement will pop during their dialogue.

In Chapter 3 you have to make 3 dosas:

For reach add water, turn down the stove, and add batter.

1: Continue with oil, turn the stove up, and use the dosa flipper 2 times

2: Continue with ghee, carrots, turn the stove up, and use the dossa flipper 2 times

3: Continue with ghee, beaten eggs, kari, coriander, turn the stove up , and use the dossa flipper 2 times

Chapter 7

1. Put water on the pan
2. Use the stove control to set the heat to the lowest setting
3. Pour the dosa batter on the pan and rotate to spread it
4. Add oil to the pan
5. Use the stove control to set the heat to the highest setting
6. Once parts of the dosa turn orange-brown, use the dosa flipper to flip it
7. Use the dosa flipper again to finish the recipe
