How to unlock the First Amongst Equals achievement in Virtua Tennis 2009 - Definitive Guide

I would just like to add a few pointers. This simply requires you to reach no 1 in world tour mode and the quickest way for me was to win both singles and doubles events. This would normally increase my position by anywhere between 5 and 10 places. When better events become available the impact of the previous events are less effective so I would recommend ignoring the 150, 100 events and stick to the tours when possible. If anything could be improved I would gladly take your advice on board. If you feel a negative vote is required, please let me know why. Thank you and good luck.

I got this achievement when winning a grand slam. I was at 6º place and then won the single and doubles. Then it pops up.

In the Pro ranking in WT, rank up and play tournaments until you reach this placing. Should take around 20 hours from start of Pro to here. You may get stuck at rank 147 (I think), which may stop you from getting this trophy. Turn autosave off here and save before you get to this ranking to make sure you can go back if it does glitch on you.

Given after getting the number 1 Professional ranking in World Tour. This will be fairly hard as your opponents get more difficult the higher the ranking you become.
