can be done in party mode. select coin match and play untill the achivment pops will need to play about 10 games should take less than 20 mins for the achivment

This is an accumlative achievement, meaning each coin equals one coin rather than the value they earn in the mini coin game.

But it is very easy and will take a few games to collect all 1000 coins depending on what level you do it on as the higher the level the more coins appear in the game.

If you'd like to know how many of the 1000 coins your upto on your main screen go to 'My club' and click on medals and that will show you all your stats towards your achievements.
