To acquire a play style you first need to unlock the ability.
To do this you take part in the training days located in the World Tour and once you get one of the specialties to level 10 you will then unlock a play style.
Then you need to go to 'My Club' and choose the training section and there you will pay 1000 credits to buy the play style which will then make the achievement pop.

Whilst playing the Mini-Games you’ll rank up your abilities. This can be obtained when you’ve reached level 10 on one of the four abilities. This will come naturally.
