This achievement will come to you naturally as your swing count will accumilate over the game modes so while your going for your World Tour achievements you will get a large number towards this, and then you can continue getting swings while you then go after your exhibition and online achievements.
At same time it is easy to boost if needed by just playing exhibition game on easy and just pressing A to keep hitting ball back to computer without trying to hit it to their side as they will just keep hitting it straight back to you.
If you''d like to know how far you are through this achievement go onto the main menu and click on 'my club' and then on medals and in there will tell you how many through your 5000 you are.
