This achievement is MISSABLE.

Emerson will disappear starting Midwinter. You will not be able to complete this achievement while he is gone. He will reappear during Spring.

Head to Emerson's home. Talk to Emerson and he will ask you to retrieve a copy of a book. He will request Homer's Iliad, which is down and to the right from your home. It is on a large rock. You probably already have seen this one. Basically these 'reading rocks' you find in the wilderness are where you need to go and look for each book. Go up to Homer's Iliad and press . It will tell you you've retrieved Emerson's copy of it. Now head back to Emerson, you can either go to his home or just find him at one of the campfires. He will next ask you to find Confucius. Every time he sends you to find a book, you will see a big X on your map, indicating a task, wherever the book he's looking for is at. After Confucius, Emerson will have you find "The Laws of Manu", "The Republic" by Plato, "The Bhagavad Ghita", "The Rig Veda", and lastly, "Nature". After you return to Emerson with "Nature" your achievement will pop.
