War of the Monsters

Story related, cannot be missed. You will unlock this trophy after defeating Goliath Prime in the third stage of Adventure mode, Outpost X.

The stage begins with fighting weak Preytor monsters. You must defeat a total of nine of them, in which they spawn three at a time. They don't pose a big threat, and die quickly after just one combo. Take them out quickly before they have a chance to overwhelm you.

After defeating the Preytors, Goliath Prime will make its appearance. This battle is divided into two different phases. In the first phase of the battle, Goliath Prime will be standing on the bunker and will be throwing three sets of bombs at you. Grab the bombs with as they fly towards you, and throw them back at Goliath Prime with . If you feel like you won't have enough time to grab a bomb, move to the left or right to dodge it. After sustaining enough damage, Goliath Prime will jump off the bunker.

In the second phase of the battle, Goliath Prime will fight you mano-a-mano. The best time to strike is when Goliath Prime puts down his propellers in front of himself and readies his charge attack. While he's readying his attack, dash towards him and execute a heavy attack combo, which will stagger him and interrupt his charge attack. Dodge his punch attacks, and always stagger him when he begins his charge attack. Goliath Prime will also begin to do a spinning attack, which you can dodge by jumping on a pillar, and will start to shoot missiles, which can be avoided by being close to his body. When he does his missile attack, he becomes wide open to perform a combo on. Play safely and defensively, and you will be victorious.
