How to unlock the Chapter Master achievement in Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team - Definitive Guide

Basically to earn this achievement you need to fill in two of the silhouettes on the mission select screen. It can be any two including co-op counting as one and you don't need to use the same two characters on every level.

I would suggest playing through on co-op with a friend so you unlock all the powerful weapons and perks then play through as the Sternguard Veteran with a missile launcher, then special power charge +25% and pickup duration +25% perks. Use your special ability often and it should recharge quickly.

Playing as Sternguard Veteran allows you to keep the worst of it at well away from you and dodge most projectiles. I completed the whole game without dieing with this technique. Good luck!

this is what the plan was for me without even seeing your guide! was just questioning whether or not co-op would actually count towards this achievement or if there would be a third playthrough involved... thanks!

If your like me and have no co-op buddy.
An Easy way i found was to simply go through with the Sternguard Veteran. then once completed. Go through again with the Sternguard Veteran but just before the end of level, enter player 2 and it'll count as co-op. Thus two silhouettes are now uncovered and it's no sweat.
I just got the achievement using this method and can confirm it works.

For this achievement you just need to play through the game with two different marines.
If you played through all the missions with a single character the first time then you simply need to pick a second one and play through them again with that character.

I did this with the Sterngaurd Veteran and the Techmarine.

Edit: It will still count if you do a run through in co-op mode with a different character. Only the primary character will count though.

I'm not to sure, my thinking is that it is based of the highest score it shows for each character on the chapter select, which groups everyone in co-op together.

I've already played through the chapter I did in co-op mode so I can't easily test it sorry.

I'll be testing this tonight because I plugged in a second controller at the end of one of the stages for the co-op achievement and I also ran it once with another character. I'll be able to tell if co-op counted as a "separate marine" if it pops when I do my second run of the last stage.

I did all the stages in coop and it does not count. Looks like I have to do each stage at least one more time. I'm hoping it's not 2 more times since coop groups all the marines together.

It definitely wont count if you just do a single run of the game through as co-op all the way, as the game specifically says that only the primary character will count towards achievements.

It may work though if you do a run through in co-op then do a run through with a different character by itself.

I just go the achievement so your correct Heroic. Looks like you can do the whole game in coop then just play through each again once in single player. As long as two silhouettes are filled that have a score you will get the achievement

Cool. Added to the solution that it will count from the primary character of a co-op run.

Most likely when you put in Space Marine it will look for a Kill Team save game and then read it to detect if you have met the requirements and then auto give it to you if you have.

That's how most things like this, such as the Dragon Age 2 Demo bonus items, work.

double confirmed. just got the chievo and I only went through engine destruction mission as librarian then co-op vanguard vet along with jumping in with a tech marine on a second controller at the end for the "finish a stage in co-op" achievement. just the librarian and coop silhouettes lit up on that stage.

anyone know how we're supposed to redeem this power-sword the game advertised as a bonus to the upcoming Space Marine full game?

Select Campaign, and you will see four dark hollow models at the bottom of each mission representing each of the 4 Classes available. The models will fill up and your highest score will be displayed if you have used the class for the particular mission in Single Player. All you need to do is to have played each mission with any two Classes to unlock this trophy. Playing two classes on Co-Op does not count as there is a separate hollow model for Co-Op.

This achievement requires you to play through a mission with your preferred Marine and then playthrough again with one of the other 3 Marines. You can do this quickly by hitting x at the end of the mission to replay as a different Marine. You can also play once in coop and once solo with the same marine. If you want to play through twice as the same marine, Galve666 has a great tip: playthrough to the end of each mission and join in for coop using a second controller just before the mission ends. Same idea as chapter brother.

You must complete the game 2 times. For example, 1 time for a technician, and 2 times for a librarian. The achievement is not difficult.

You just need to go through each of the 5 missions with two different classes. Or one class and co-op.
