Easy achievement overall. Only missed 2 on my first playthrough, both on the 4th level, and I know exactly where one of them is.

Hard to miss if you look everywhere.

The video offers hints more than it helps. Completely useless in helping me find the last two I needed.

nice video, the german speaker is just epic. :D
as for the weird boy collectable: it can be collected after the fight if you do co-op.

Very easy to get, the collectables aren't difficult to spot. Once you pick up a collectable you don't have to collect it again, even if you die on the level and go back to a checkpoint. Only the ones you need are visible.

Only bit of adivce I would give if you want to get this without having to go back for any is when you fight the Weird Boy (end of level 2 I think) make sure you get the collectable from the right of his pillar before the 3rd wave of enemies as he destroys the floor and you can't reach it. Also when you are on the last level and get down the ramps to the long walk up to the War Boss, come back towards yourself on the screen and grab the 1 on the far left and 1 on the far right sides as you lose access to these as well once he starts coming after you.

To add to the excellent video posted by Rasterloda, you may have difficulty finding the seventh aquila on mission 4 (teleporta complex incursion) due to your TV. This is the aquila after the RLH Carnivex portion once you make it to the large circular landing. On mine I could not see the aquila due to my screen size. All I could see was a slight red glow on the side of the screen (I missed it 5 times prior, had to really look for it). You can still get it with no problems, just locating it can be a pain. I hope this helps. Blood for the Blood God; Skulls for the Skull Throne and all that.

Np, took me a few days and some research online to find it. I am glad it helped someone else out as well.

Thanks for the info on this one. I was trying to find it and I normally don't use walkthroughs, guides, etc. but I just wasn't seeing the collectable at all. Now I know why. My CRT wasn't showing me the collectable. I have a rare instance where I don't feel guilty for going to a guide. This really was a Guide Dang It moment for me. I had no real way of figuring it out on my own unless I was using a different TV. Thanks again!

There are 5 levels in the game, each containing 10 Collectibles (Medals) that are hidden in red boxes scattered throughout the level. Once picked up, the Collectibles are registered and will not appear again. You can press while playing a level to see how many you have collected for that particular level. Collectible Video by 360GameTV.

Note: The second last collectible shown in the video does not appear in that location for the PS3 version. It appears much later instead when you drop to the ground onto a circular area where there are 3 containers that spawn Enemies.

Each mission has 10 red crates, unique from the rest of the destroyable objects in the game, that can be destroyed with your weapon of choice and will reveal a collectable Aquila/Space Marine token. In general, they are very easy to find, especially after the first few levels with the game becomes a bit more linear. There are a few tricky ones, however, some appear behind objects while others are only visible in certain camera angles and others still are behind the camera, so be sure to check behind and around everything as you progress through the story. Finishing a level will permanently remove all collected boxes from your game to save you some confusion later on, and they will also disappear as you progress through a level and die after collecting the token. This is nice for some of the chase sequences, primarily the Carnifex chase where you pass a couple of tokens that may be missable the first attempt. However, if you exit the game/level without finishing you will have to reacquire all of the tokens you got on that run.
