This achievement requires you to sacrifice one of your rangers in order to re-unite the two factions. Unless you want to sacrifice one of them for story-reasons, I highly suggest returning to Ranger HQ in order to create a brand new, sacrificial ranger.
Once you return Iridium to the Nucleasts, make sure to get 10 stacks of Holy Radiation on your sacrificial ranger. Save before going to see Abbot Deuterium. Then, use the computer in the Power Storage Facility to open the way to speak to Abbot Deuterium. Ask to speak to him first and try to reconcile the two groups. Tell him that Theo Curie has found a way to guarantee he'll become a radiation angel. Then, agree to let one of your rangers join him and transcend.
Note: I had an issue the first time I tried to do this. Even though my sacrificial ranger had 10 stacks of Holy Radiation, they wouldn't appear as an option even though the rest did. I had to reload an earlier save and made all of my rangers all get 10 stacks of Holy Radiation. This fixed the issue for me.
Agree with all of the ritual's steps and you'll get the achievement. Your ranger will turn into a proto-drool whom Abbot Deuterium dubs Pustule. Pustule will lose his status as a companion but continue to follow you around.

I got a similar bug. My sacrificial ranger had 10 holy radiation but the rest didn't. When talking to Abbot no options appeared besides ''attack''. Reloaded a save and talked to him again. This time with the sacrificial ranger selected. This seemed the have worked as I got the option to join.
I did talk to the angels in the back, which also require 10 holy radiation in end it peacefully. Don't know it that chanced things.
