Wheel of Fortune

The achievements for collecting specific wedges are somewhat luck based, but there is a method to increase your chances of getting them. Start a game using 3 controllers so that there are no AI players in the way to ruin your plans.

With your main controller, spin the wheel and try to get a good idea of what the solution is. If you just tap instead of holding it down, the wheel will end up close to where it started. Sometimes it will go further, and sometimes it will go backward. Use different levels of power to get close to the wedges that you're going for, then start tapping to spin until you land on it. You have to correctly guess a letter to pick up the wedge, so make sure you know the solution ASAP.

I guessed letters until I knew the puzzle, then when I landed on a space that I didn't want, I purposely guessed a wrong letter. With the other two controllers, press twice to Solve, then Pass. Continue spinning and guessing incorrect letters until you land on the wedges that you want. Each wedge will appear only once per game, so once you have everything that you want you can quit and restart the game.

It still takes time, but this is the fastest method I have found.

Unfortunately this one involves quite a bit of luck. The Gift tag appears in all modes and all rounds where you can spin the wheel, but it only appears once. If another player/CPU picks it up, even if they go bankrupt, the tag is gone. If you're exclusively going for this achievement, it'd be a good idea to restart your game and cross your fingers that you land on it.

Once you successfully collect the tag (land on the wedge and successfully pick a consonant) 5 times the achievement will pop. You do not need to solve the puzzle with the tag to count... even going bankrupt and losing the tag will still count as 1 of the 5 that you need to collect.
