How to unlock the Dominant Drifters achievement in Wild Arms 3 - Definitive Guide
Reaching level 90 may seem like a daunting task, but with the help of Creeping Chaos and Silent Chaos enemies, this task can become very easy – although time consuming. Creeping Chaos enemies become available anywhere on the world map after defeating five Telepath Towers, and Silent Chaos enemies become available anywhere on the world map after defeating ten Telepath Towers. See Mother of the UFOs for more information. A Creeping Chaos is worth 10,000 experience points, and a Silent Chaos is worth 30,000 experience points, but the trick is to trigger your status ailment wards enough times to reach an experience multiplier of 9.9x by the end of the battle so that you can get large amount of experience points on your way to level 90.
Creeping and Silent Chaos enemies occasionally use an attack called Arc-en-Ciel, which causes the confusion, paralysis, misery, sleep, poison, disease, and amnesia status ailments. Thus, with those status ailment wards on all four characters, they will all receive a 0.7x experience points multiplier every time Arc-en-Ciel is used. Creeping and Silent Chaos enemies can be found anywhere on the world map before the Telepath Tower side quest is completed, but the best place to find them is near the Baskar Colony because they will be the only encounters that can’t be avoided for free (with a white exclamation mark before the battle) and will be very common, and you have access to a free in and save point inside the colony itself. When you enter the battle, make sure that all character have the seven status ailment wards equipped. You can either set your characters to auto battle and let the Creeping and Silent Chaos enemies use Arc-en-Ciel on you as much as you want, or you can defend. Either way, let them use Arc-en-Ciel on your party enough times to get a 9.9x experience points multiplier. Depending on how many Creeping Chaos or Silent Chaos enemies were present during the battle, you can potentially obtain hundreds of thousands of experience points in just one fight.
In order to reach level 90, you will require millions of experience points. Once you reach level 90 and obtain the trophy, you can move on, although I would recommend not stopping until you reach level 100 in order to make your Finest Arts attacks more powerful. Either way, it’s up to you as it’s not explicitly necessary for the platinum, but the extra time spent doing it may make some optional bosses easier down the line.
