How to unlock the Flatland Flyer achievement in WipEout HD - Definitive Guide

Set up a Speed Lap session in Racebox and choose the Phantom Speed class on Moa Therma.
The only place to do this is on the very last turn of the track.
Use the boost and while in the air, turn to the left a little and quickly barrel roll, you will have to try several times and the trophy should pop-up.

There's only one place to barrel roll on Moa Therma and that's at the very end. Firstly you will want to set up a speed lap on Moa Therma and select Phantom Speed. You will now want some drive behind you so you will reach the final corner quicker, you will notice a speed pad on the track. Line yourself up behind it and then drive over it and cut the corner and pull the ships nose up to get some air. You have enough time to get a barrel roll done here, trophy will unlock shortly after landing a successful barrel roll. See the video below by Pez1735 for a better view on things, credit to him:

Quite a difficult reward, since the Moa Therma track is as flat as a table and there are no jumps on which you can jump. The only way to do a barrel roll on it is to accelerate up the wall and fall off from there and do a barrel roll.
First of all, make sure that you have “Pilot Assist” disabled. At the last turn before the finish line there will be an acceleration arrow, and immediately after it the track will turn 45 degrees. You need to accelerate on the switch, catch the edge of the track and appear in the air. Then perform a “barrel”. If you don't get it the first time, turn around and repeat until you get it. The best way to do this is in the video tutorial .

I will add that the ships are steered not only right and left, but also raise the bow up and down. Before jumping onto the wall, hold the left stick or cross down, this will make it easier for the car to get off the ground. the rest is a matter of technique. I did it 4-5 times, which in principle is not difficult.
