World of Tanks Modern Armor

The achievement description is a bit misleading. What you actually have to do is:

'Survive for a whole minute while detected as the last member of your team while the enemy team only has one tank left. MP Only.'

I survived for over a minute in the Pz38H by facehugging a tank who couldn't penetrate me, but the enemy then flanked me and I died and the achievement didn't unlock. This was probably because there were 3 other enemies alive.

I unlocked this achievement in the Pz38H in Komarin. I was by myself against an artillery and a Stuart I-IV. I drove to the bridge near the enemy's spawn, got spotted by the artillery and Stuart, took out the artillery. The Stuart was underneath the bridge and I was lucky that he or she was AFK. So all I had to do was stay within the Stuart's spotting range and wait for my achievement to unlock before getting my final kill. Note that this achievement does unlock during the game so you don't necessarily need to be alive when the match ends.

EDIT 2: IM TOM JW suggests that you should join the server with the lowest population and play a tier 1 tank. This way you will more likely be in games that are 3v3, 4v4, 5v5 etc, making it easier to unlock the achievement.

My tip is to use a heavily armoured low tier tank, preferably tiers 1 to 4 (the lower the better). Some suggestions include:

What to do:
Play the match normally and hope that all of your teammates and the majority of enemies get destroyed. Then just keep destroying tanks until there is only one enemy left.

If you're using a heavily armoured tank like I suggested, the last enemy should struggle to damage/penetrate you as long as these conditions hold:

1. You angle your tank properly (30-45 degrees depending on the frontal and side armour)
2. The enemy is not using a derp gun
3. The enemy is not a tank destroyer or artilley.
4. The enemy is an equal or lower tier tank
5. The enemy doesn't fire premium rounds

So just wait until the achievement unlocks and then destroy the last enemy.

If the last enemy does happen to be a turretless tank destroyer or artillery, you could try getting behind it and just wait for your achievement to unlock and then get the final kill. However this would be easier to do in more mobile tanks.

I hope this solution will help you unlock this achievement.

EDIT 1: Some people say they unlocked the achievement when they were up against multiple enemies.

EDIT 3: Some people suggest that this achievement progress is cumulative and does not have to be done in one game. I only had to wait for about 30 seconds while being spotted by the Stuart before unlocking the achievement.

EDIT 4: I forgot to mention that you would want to be in a match where there are little to no higher tier tanks, or else you might not last very long when you are detected. Thanks igor5618.

Boosting method for this achievement.

Get two platoons and kill all randoms. After that kill remaining members of your platoons without killing two people (one per each side) who are going for the achievement. You can do it for two people at the same battle. Then disappear so you won't spot another person. After that you are free to go to the other person, spot yourselves and wait one minute until the achievement pops. It pops in the battle so you don't need to watch the timer.

Okey, some easy place to make it!

If you play some heavy tank on a map Widepark (http://wiki.wargaming.net/en/Widepark), your starting position is top and you are among best tanks - take your chance!

Go B-0 (top right of the map), you'll see some trains on the railroad, there is a way between the end of the map and a train, you can enter this place only from B-0 or C-0 and you can drive all the way down to E-0 or F-0. No need to go all the way there from the start of the macth, first do your best to stay alone versus several tanks (try to kill heavy tanks staying near the enter of this place). When you are the only one left and they know where you are go backwards that way. Anyone goes for you will go from B-0, so kill them or let them shoot you if you know the can't hit you. They could try to shoot you through spaces between trains, be carefull and move from that spaces. Shoot the tanks trying to take your base same way through spaces between trains. And trains are partly destructible) If you play this game you got the idea.

Just drive a strong Russian tier 5-6 heavy like the kv-1 or if you have them the Bogatyr of the kv-220 premiumtanks.
These tanks have the most chance to stay alive with LUCK.
