World of Tanks Modern Armor

Your best bet for this is picking a fast light or medium tank and playing in lower tiers because your teammates will have better fire rates. Basic strategy is to get to the front line and either find cover and keep poking out periodically or just keep moving.

An alternative way; pick a tank with a solid turret (T29, T32, higher tier russian heavies and mediums...). Find a hill towards the front line (the center of prokhorovka or the northeast hill in malinovka). Keep the enemy spotted, expose only your turret and rock back and forth so you take minimal damage while your teammates do some damage. Down sides to this are that arty WILL target you, the better tanks for this are in higher tiers and your teammates will have slower fire rates.

Any damage done by your teammates will counts, that includes direct damaging hits, hits that only damage modules (tracks or view ports), and each hit caused by fire. If a shot bounces, it does not count. (Credit to aGundamDownHere) Also enemy spotted ribbons don't count either (Credit to o DEEVIUS)

Equipment that extend view range are coated optics (the better choice for active scouting) and binos (the better choice for passive scouting).

Equipment that keep you hidden longer, so you can keep spotting without getting killed, is the camo net.

Crew skills that extend view range are recon and situational awareness,

Crew skills that keep you hidden longer are camouflage, green thumb, silent driving, and muffled shot (if you want to shoot too)

It's also worth noting that buying camo for each type of map will increase your chances of remaining hidden. And sixth sense will let you know if you have been spotted too.

You can try this achievement with low tier tanks, but the action is fast paced at these tiers.
Most players Yolo across the map right at the start of the match, these players will most likely get themselves killed quickly but also get you killed in this process. Not very smart.

Best tank to use are fast light tanks or fast tank destroyers tiers 4 or higher. Because they have the best camouflage and view rating.

I managed to get this achievement using my tier 4 Ke-Ho Japanese light tank on Swamp map.

To increase these ratings equipment, camouflage net, binoculars and vents.
The following crew skills are not needed but will help out lower skilled players

Recon.
Situational awareness.
Camouflage.
Green thumb.
Brothers in arms.

You can also supply your crew with what ever your nation consumable maybe, Cola for the USA crew, Chocolate for the German crew and so forth doing so increases your crew skill rating by 10%.

This achievement will be best tried on open maps where you can keep moving behind a rigid line coming up to keep the enemy in sight.

Best method is to quickly get to a bush in the front lines before you get spotted, and sit with your tanks nose just inside the bush.

Resist the temptation to fire on any enemy you spot .
If you fire on them this will get you spotted because your camouflage rating will drop.

Just sit back and let your team go to work, now watch the ribbons roll in, and if you want you can start to pray for someone to catch fire as this will greatly help out the ribbon count.
