How to unlock the Neighbourhood Virtuoso achievement in WRC: FIA World Rally Championship - Definitive Guide

66500 XP is your goal.
If you're an average driver you need about 150 stages and 10 hours of pure gameplay to achieve this.

Here are some advices:
1. Play Championships instead of Single Stages as it will give you bonus XP at the end;
2. Watch for a big crowd, it's better (meaning more XP) to play with 16 people and place in the middle of the pack than play with only 4 people and win;
3. Switch off your opponents ghosts, they will only distract you;
4. Drive fast but safe, don't crash; drive clean, stay on the road;
5. Don't leave the session if you're in the race, the game will punish you by taking away up to 1000 XP;
6. Try to enjoy this crappy game :).

EDIT: OK ... so here are my stats when i reach level 20:
- Special Stages Raced - 131
- Special Stages Victories - 11
- Raced Distance - 825 km
- Total Racing Time - 0d 8h 11m

Sound advice.. I'd also say to learn the harder tracks (Sweden, Turkey, Mexico, etc.) on single player, and then if you get into a lobby whereby you can vote for the next race, add your vote to those harder tracks. New Zealand often gets voted in by newcomes, whereby the result is almost completely luck based since they're VERY easy layouts.

Your target for level 20 is 66500 xp.

A good way to boost this is with 3 other people

The best way my group and I found to boost was to:

Set up a championship - 12 rounds
Pick New Zeland as all the stages as this is the shortest track and make sure you put it on private.

Whoever is going for the wins will win all 12 rounds and by the end of the 12th stage you will earn will earn around 4900xp including any green sectors you accomplished.

Ideally you don`t want the others racing incase they get a green sector, therefore the other players should just sit on the start line.

You also get a bonus at the end, when one person is going for the wins the others just sit on the start line, one person sits in third place, and the others swap second and fourth place.

Doing this will give 2nd 3rd and 4th the same championship xp.

When you have done a full rotation of championships and when everyone gets there full championship win, each person will end up with around 9500xp per session,
Here is a breakdown of what you get in xp for four places per race

1st-330xp 2nd-270xp 3rd-120xp 4th-70xp.

Hope this helps, good luck.

How long does this method take for all 4 people to get the achievement? If you can, please PM me!

Is it possible to boost this with only 2 people as well? Or will it take extremely long then?

It would be possible, but you would not get nearly as much xp. So yes it would take a long time.

We recently picked up another copy of the game, since we just got another XBox 360 console as said above in the past comment I did beforehand. So now we have 5 accounts in total doing these races, 3 of them are dummy accounts.

So from what I'm witnessing so far...

1st Place = 380XP
2nd Place = 320XP (This is a guess as I couldn't access the TV Screen that the consoles tied with).
3rd Place = 170XP
4th Place = 120XP
5th Place - 70XP

The winning person at the end of the 13 races we have been doing gets a total of 980XP instead of 380XP.

So having the additional account only dramatically increases XP for the ones that are coming in 1st & 2nd Place. Luckily for us the accounts that are coming in 1st & 2nd are myself and my brother. So... happy days : )

I've also discovered that Springfield 2 is a better track to race on, since it's all downhill rather than it being uphill.

We've been using this method and we find it really good for the fact that only one person does all the work, whilst the others sit idle. We've been using 2x dummy accounts as 3rd and 4th place racers.

We've been doing 13 Races as that's the maximum and after the 13th racer, the winning person get's a total of 810XP rather than having the standard 330XP.

You say New Zealand has the shortest tracks, can you remember which one in particular would you say is the shortest one of the lot? I'm taking a guess at Whaanga Coast 1?

We just recently got another XBox 360 console so we may consider getting another copy of the game for another dummy account, making 5 if I guess is worth it.

But overall, great solution.

Sitting on the start line just causes an extra 45seconds on each race. It's better for everyone to finish close behind the winner, green sectors are only 10 points each, whereas 45 seconds every race will lose you up to 35 races in a 4 hour session.

You can do it with only 2 people also, little slower than Petrolium Bear-s 4 pearson boosting. Put up Championship 13 rounds New Zealand. you will get approximatly 4000 xp per 2 championship. Firts champion ship win goes to one person with 6 sec rule (you get 60xp then other one finishes 6 seconds later) and also all green sectors. Then the other will get the same amount.
