How to unlock the Seventh Heaven achievement in WRC: FIA World Rally Championship - Definitive Guide

This Achievement requires you to setup a championship and complete 7 different Rallies (Surfaces) in the championship. You can set the maximum races per Rally to 2...Im guessing about a hour gameplay to obtain this

The bad news: central perk 08's awesome time-saving solution in which you actually drive the first two stages of the first rally event then 'retire' from the rest does not work with this achievement. You're going to have to drive a total of 14 stages to pop this one.

The good news: If you wish to knock this out as quickly as possible you can create a 7 rally Championship, using New Zealand for each event.

Go to:

Single Player
Championship
WRC cars
Number of Rallies = 7
Change each of the seven countries to be 'New Zealand'
Rally Duration = 2

New Zealand has the shortest stages so you will be able to pop this achievement in about 50 minutes.

If you would like to make this particular achievement less annoying, and you're old enough to be legally in possession of alcohol, do what your ol' mate Poops did and play my new drinking game 'Co-driver says Man'.

The rules are simple. If your annoying co-driver calls you 'man' at any time during your achievement run, all you need to do is take a quick swig of whichever alcoholic beverage happens to be handy at the time.

I had a potent Australian shiraz here (a Chris Ringland 2010, 15% alcohol by volume for anyone interested) which proved to be quite helpful during my session. I've actually been to visit New Zealand and don't think the graphics in this game do any justice to it's rugged beauty. Matter of fact I would go so far as to say that V-Rally on the PS1 may have been prettier.

Didn't the game devs at any point consider perhaps that not everyone who plays this title would be in possession of a set of sweaty testicles? I'm pretty sure most lady gamers would not enjoy being called 'man' every six minutes or so while they're bashing away at this less than stellar rally game. Just sayin'. And why didn't they code some headlights for the dawn/dusk stages? If you can see where you're going during the Spanish stages you're doing better than me.

I seem to have digressed somewhat from the matter at hand and sincerely apologise for doing so.

If anyone can confirm whether it's possible to pop this while going for the 'Awesome!' achievement please let me know and I'll update this rambling mess. Best of luck out there. Don't forget the best way to drive is sideways. Poops out.

It isn’t possible to pop “Awesome!” whilst going for this.
