This is by far the hardest of the titles to get. This is because you can't start in this division like you can with the US, NXT, and tag team titles. Also, while I haven't gotten to test it yet, I've been told that you can only use the Royal Rumble and the Money in the Bank to get the WHC championship. That would mean that the IC championship is the only one you have to go from rank 10 to rank 2 to get.
The quickest way to rank up would be to simply start rivalries and cut promos when you aren't in a rivalry. Look at the rankings for the IC and see who is ahead of you. Pick someone 1 or 2 spots ahead and start a rivalry with them. It can get kind of slow to climb (I'm currently ranked 4 on the IC ladder and have been for 3 months in game), but just keep doing it and eventually you will climb up there.
When you reach the number 2 spot or the number 1 contender spot, start a rivalry with the champ. At the next PPV, you should get a title match. Win that and you get the trophy.
