How to unlock the Untouchable achievement in WWE 2K17 - Definitive Guide

This is one of four achievements you get by playing through MyCareer mode and Virtual Currency (VC) to spend on making your character better. As much as it sucks to spend $10 on an achievement, it is far easier to get to level 95 if you buy Kick Starter.

The amount of VC you gain depends on how many stars you get during matches. You need a certain number of points for each half star.

Here's the amount of points you get for each type of move:

Failed reversal: -20-0
Repeat move: -10-0
Reversal: 100-300
Basic (Running, grapple, strike, corner, etc...): 120
Off the middle/top and weapons: 200 (Can use repeatedly up to a certain point)
Signature: 300 (Can use repeatedly up to a certain point)
Finisher (OMG!, regular, stolen): 400 (Can use repeatedly up to a certain point)
Barricade Breaker: 750 (Can use repeatedly up to a certain point)

You get 1 VC if you simply quit the match at the main menu. You also gain significantly less VC for winning DQs and count outs.

You can also gain VC for completing the Authority's orders. Don't worry about completing them, however. They're only useful for the extra VC, so only complete the ones you can. There are orders that tell you to lose or win/lose by DQ/count out. You should avoid those because it's not worth it.

Purchasing certain skills and abilities can boost your overall rating. I got Ring Escape LVL. 3 and my rating went from 90 to 91.

You'll get more VC if you're on NXT and have the NXT pack.

NOTE: All four achievements cost VC now. VC is a thing of the past. However, you can get far more VC than in WWE 2K16 from the matches. Not only that but you can get VC from any match in any mode, though MyCareer is still the best for grinding VC. Also, you can get VC from T-Shirt sales, though in order to keep the income up you have to change it every week. If do that by equipping a T-Shirt as an entrance attire.

These are the other three achievements you get by leveling up your character:

Just got this. Its so much easier this year. Last year, I got into the HOF and only had a 86. Just got to 96 and I have only won one title so far. Got it just before Mania.

This is similar to last year, but it’s quicker to reach, since you gain SP much quicker than last year’s game, but the VC requirement to increase your attributes has stayed the same. You can get about 18000 VC if you put on a 5-star match, as opposed to 1200 last year. Additionally, VC is now a game-wide feature that carries over into career mode, meaning that everything you do helps towards all of the VC-related MyCareer trophies, rather than
having to grind through the same matches in career mode.

Although it isn’t needed as much as last year, you can still save a lot of time using the MyPlayer Kickstarter, costing £7.99/$9.99/€9.99 or equivalent. You can then turn this on in the MyCareer options to boost your CAW to 90 without having to spend any VC. Boosting every attribute to 82 (then the first few to 83) was the way I did it. You can also save VC this way by backing up your save beforehand, increasing your overall to 95 then downloading your original save. MyCareer is easy either way, so you shouldn’t need the extra 5 overall. If you have the NXT pack from either preordering the special edition or available later separately, you get 50% extra VC in NXT. You also get more VC if you are Brock Lesnar in other modes.

You should get most if not all of the VC you need for this and the other VC-related trophies on your way to the platinum. You don’t need to buy any of the main game VC purchasables (bonus superstars, arenas etc) or the move packs in MyCareer (though you should buy some to get better moves to increase your popularity), so keep these purchases to a minimum. The only things you need to buy are attributes, abilities, skills and managers.
