How to unlock the Royal Rumble Specialist achievement in WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2010 - Definitive Guide

This isn't as daunting as it sounds. Basically you need to take any wrestler and enter them as number 1 in a 30 man Royal Rumble (must be a single player game). You then need to take that wrestler through and win the event without being eliminated yourself. To make things easy for yourself you can set the DIFFICULTY down to "Easy". A few tips I can give you would be to store your finishers. You can accumulate up to 3 and once you have gained these you have the ability to throw two wrestlers out at a single time. To do this simply wait till someone is trying to eliminate another and walk up behind them and press Y. You can also use the finishers to automatically eliminate others.

Heres a video that I made to go ith this guide

Can you make 29 created superstars at 39 rating and put them in the RR against a WWE Superstar like Undertaker and will it count?

Play as Big Show and replace every wrestler either with the 70s/80s ones, created wrestlers, or a combination of the two. Set yourself as the Number 1 entry and start the match.

The two easiest methods that I found were to either throw them into a corner and do the quick-time type mini-game or to simply throw them over the ropes and do the button-mash game. (Note that if they are laying down on the apron after you throw them over, that mini-game is significantly harder than the other two)
What I did both to avoid getting bored and to give myself some insurance if I ran in to trouble later on was just wrestle some of them. After about 5-10 wrestlers you should earn one finisher that will remain as long as you don't use it. These are helpful in case you end up in a situation where you are being thrown over and you can simply use the finisher to get out of it. Just to one or two cycles of strong grapples, throw them out, then move on to the next competitor. New wrestlers enter every 30 seconds meaning that this achievement should take about 15 minutes to get.

You can use your created wrestler so you can help his stats boost. The quickest and easiest way I found was to throw your opponent into the corner and do the mini game. A button pops up and you have to press the correct button quickly. Do that three times and say goodbye to that wrestler. By the time you eliminated a wrestler the next one should be on their way to the ring or just out to come out. A new wrestler enters about every 30 seconds I think. Do this 28 more times and you'll get it. And for fun you can save your finishers until the last couple of guys and do the royal rumble style finishers to them. But they aren't really needed.

Just use someone with high overall (rock, hhh, mysterio, cena, created)
Put the game on easy and try going for simple turnbuckle eliminations.

Choose Undertaker (96) and replace the stars with all the 70 rated superstars, 80 rated and your Created Wrestler. Set entry as number one and then play. You should get this first time

As usual, the following strategy assumes you have the game settings as described in my road map. From the main menu, go to: PLAY > ROYAL RUMBLE > 30-MAN ROYAL RUMBLE. I chose John Cena, because he’s pretty highly ranked and because he was the first player that showed up. Make sure his entry order is set to 1 (one). During the match do the following:
  1. Running grapple in the up direction.
  2. Turn-buckle dive.
  3. Pick up your opponent (i.e. hit ).
  4. Repeat steps 1 – 3 until you have your finisher built up.
  5. Throw your opponent into the ropes so that they hang from them over the apron.
  6. Walk up to them and activate your finisher (i.e. hit ).
  7. Repeat steps 1 – 6 for each character.
If you do this properly, you should be able eliminate each character before the next character enters the ring. This is kind of boring, but it’s very easy.
