How to unlock the Caught Slipping achievement in WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2011 - Definitive Guide

I used HBK vs Mysterio i turned A.I reversals up and left difficulty on easy, Also turn rope break off. Play as hbk and work on mysterio till he is moving slow. now let him beat on you till he he does the 619 or his moon flip pin combo Once he he pins you you will see a yellow bar just past the green bar. Hold any button ( a b x y) till it gets to the yellow then release. to reverse the pin. it took me several tries but this method does work. Hope this helps.

a little note for this method to work you have to have the kickout system to Tap/hold and not original

This set-up works great! I had to crank up the dificulty to Hard and then set the Finisher damage to Low and DQ to Off. I beat on Rey with chairs to severely weaken him, then let him damange me until he did the flip pin combo. Was actually pretty funny because we did 6 pin reversals before I was able to hold him down for 3.

The description of this achievement was a bit confusing to me. Two times I countered a wrestler's move into a pin, but did not earn the achievement. To unlock Caught Slipping, you must use two wrestlers with the Leverage Pin ability. The easiest way to do this is to set the difficulty as high as possible. It's possible to earn the achievement on easy, but it will be more difficult because the AI is much less likely to counter a move.

Play the match as normal. You have to wear your opponent down enough to be able to pin them. Once you feel your opponent is nearly finished, attempt a groggy grapple. The two easiest ways to make your opponent groggy are to hit a striking combination (four strike moves quickly in a row) or to knock your opponent down and lift him/her to their feet by pushing up on the right stick.

Once your opponent is groggy, try to grapple them as normal. Hopefully they will counter into a pinfall attempt, but if they don't just keep picking them up and grappling them again. Once they do counter you, do NOT kick out as you normally would. Instead hold a button and fill the kick-out meter until it reaches the yellow target zone. If you do this correctly you will reverse the pin into one of your own. If you wore your opponent down enough to earn the three count, the achievement is yours.

According to the Prima strategy guide the wrestlers with this ability are Chris Jericho, Christian, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler, Evan Bourne, Goldust, Kofi Kingston, Matt Hardy, Primo, R-Truth, Rey Mysterio, Ricky Steamboat, Santino Marella, Shawn Michaels, Tyson Kidd, Yoshi Tatsu, and Zack Ryder.

(If you would prefer to use Divas, the following women have the Leverage Pin ability: Alicia Fox, Gail Kim, Maryse, Melina, Michelle McCool, and Mickie James)

Edited October 30th: Using two controllers I just attempted to earn this achievement on another name but was unable to do so. I had trouble countering moves into pins, as the wrestlers (I used Jericho and Ziggler) would frequently counter into regular wrestling holds. On the few instances in which I DID counter into a pin, the yellow target never appeared until I made sure both wrestlers were significantly worn down. I eventually managed reverse the pinfalls, but the achievement did NOT unlock. Unless I encountered a fluke, it appears this achievement must be earned against a computer controlled opponent.

I assumed you can't, though the description does not specify. I will go check real quick and edit my post, so check back in a few minutes if you do not see the edit.

after all of that, ive tried god knows how many times, he should be pinned but no, he can somehow reverse the pin into his own, and it keeps going like that, until I mess up the holding button thing, then he wins, to a way which is physically impossible!!! :@, anyone else having problems?

Here's a suggestion that may or may not work. Put the game on easy and then use the options to fix it so the opponent frequently counters. Hopefully this will help because you probably won't need to do as much damage to him, and he probably won't do as much damage to you either, making it easier for you to reverse his pin attempt into one of your own. I have not tried this, so I can't vouch for whether it's affective or not, but it may be worth a shot.

I chained the difficulty to Hard and maxed the sliders for A.I. Reversals. I used Shawn Michaels against Rey Mysterio with rope breaks off and dq off. I beat the holy hell out of him for a while untill he was heavily damaged and then let him beat on.
Then I kept irish whipping him into the ropes and tried to grapple him from the rebound hoping he would counter into a leverage pin and then try to reverse the pin from there. remember to hold the buttons on the pin to the yellow i think u have to win the match with the pin cause thats what i did.

Put the difficulty on legendary, and move all the cpu sliders down except standing grapple (move that all the way up). Play an extreme rules match as chris jericho vs christian. Beat him with a weapon until he begins to hold his head, then do a running grapple. If he reverses it it should always be a leverage pin situation. I'm not 100% sure if you have to be damaged or not to initiate it, but it did take me a few tries to get the 3 count. So I suggest hurting him a lot with weapons.

A leverage pin is a special ability that means the character can reverse an opponent's pin attempt into one of their own. If someone has the leverage pin ability, there will be an additional yellow bar when they are getting pinned. To achieve the trophy, beat down on your opponent until he is holding a body part then leave him to beat you up until he goes for a pin. While being pinned you must hold :cross: and then release to stop the bar in the yellow area. To make it easier face someone that doesn't have the ability so they cannot reverse your leverage pin into one of their own.

in a match, when the player is pinned, you just need to do something like a reverse, then your player will roll so that the opponent gets the PIN. There in the Move-set you need to configure all this. When the judge counts yes 3, the trophy is yours!

We choose a one-on-one match, we take Chava Guerrero against Rey Mysterio. then we beat him until he began to hold his head, and then we do nothing most often (as in my case), he pushes you onto the ropes and you start running when you approach him, he makes a holding grip, your Persian will have two scales, blue and yellow, when you get to the yellow one, it will start to fire.
