Talk About Resilient

Kick out of The Undertaker's Tombstone Piledriver finisher on Legend difficulty (Offline).

4.3%

How to unlock the Talk About Resilient achievement in WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2011 - Definitive Guide

First go to "My WWE" > Options > Gameplay Options > Match Options > In-game Options.

Put difficulty on "Legend", make sure kick out is on tap/hold and turn stamina system off.
Go back to Gameplay Options and go to Gameplay Balance Options > Damage Balancing. Turn finisher strength down to zero.

Also, turn "Taunt Momentum" all the way up amd turn all of your opponents attacks all the way down. Start a 1 w/manager vs 1, it does not matter who you use or who your manager is.

Make sure count out is off, just stay outside and he will keep taunting you, when he has a special, get in the ring and let him use it, after that he will do his tombstone piledrive.

Make your manager distract the ref and just simply kick out, the reason you should have a manager is because I tried a while back and he just would not kick out lol.

Note: The loading screen before the entrances show the controls to make your manager do things.

Good Luck xP

I found it was better to leave count out on otherwise Taker just followed me around.

Also, to add a manager I found the only way to do it was to select advanced after selecting a superstar. Select the attire and then there's an option to add a manager.

Although in the end the manager wasn't necessary for me. Good guide otherwise, thanks!

I just got it thanks to your solution, but I also agree with LitaOsiris, you should note that you should leave the 10-count 'ring out'/countout on, otherwise understaker follows you outside. I kept having that problem, so yeah, that should be noted. Thanks. +1

turn off rope break go into a match vs undertaker beat him up until
he does the thing where he gets up and has a finisher automatically
let him hit you with it you will have no problem kicking out because he has not done any damage to you to get his finisher

Unfortunatally, getting this trophy is like watching post Brothers of Destruction wrestle, simple, boring and prone to making you wish it would end already. Fortunatally, I there are some ways to make the pain end a little faster.

First of all, the obvious stuff. Choose someone with high endurance, set the difficulty to Legend, make your opponent The Undertaker and make the area Wrestlemania.

Before the match, there are some changes you can make to help this trophy along. First of, go to options, balancing and set the finisher damage to it's lowest, making the Tombstone easier to kick out of.

Secondly, Undertaker has two finishers, only one of which is the Tombstone. This gives a 50/50 chance that he will use the wrong finisher during the match. To fix this, head over to create a move set -> Superstar -> Undertaker and change The Last Ride to Tombstone 3. You're now ready to head to Wrestlemania!

Make sure to take a manager with you before heading in to the match.

The trick is to let 'Taker build his momentum as fast as possible, either slide out of the ring and let him taunt or just stay in and let him beat your ass. Either way just wait around until he hits his signature, followed by his Tombstone. When he does, and he starts the pin hit R1 and left on the d-pad and your manager will distract the ref, stopping him from counting and giving you a huge window to kick out. Upon doing so the trophy will pop a few seconds later.

Just remember it doesn't count if you get out with a rope break, so stay as close to centre ring as possible.

Before the match you need to have the difficulty set to 'Legend'. You may want to have the momentum speed to fastest so it will take less time to meet the trophy requirements. Start a match with a manager against the Undertaker and use Randy Orton or someone else with an overall over 90. When the match begins, immediately exit the ring to the outside and wait until your opponent taunts. This way you will not be heavily damaged when the opponent goes for the Piledriver then get back in the ring and quickly back out again before the Undertaker can attack you. Keep repeating this process until his momentum bar is full. Once this happens, you need to be in the ring. Let the Undertaker perform a Tombstone Piledriver on you. When he goes for the pin, your manager will distract the referee thus giving you more time to hold and kick out. This may take a few attempts but it is relatively easy and the trophy should pop as soon as you kick out. Also see this tip by TheSystemError:

Replace Undertaker's Last Ride finisher with something else, the best choice is Hells Gate as he uses it and doesn't actually have it set. Now, start the match and beat up on him until he uses his Kip Up ability (you will know it when he suddenly sits up and gains full momentum). Now, stand still and allow him to Tombstone you. Kicking out will be trivial.
