How to unlock the Can you EVER touch me? achievement in X-Blades - Definitive Guide

Every time you enter one of the following rooms immediately make a manual save (just in case you should mess up so you can reload). The levels you want to do are the following ones (in order of playing through the game):

*) Deadly Passage (no enemies here)

*) Fork in the Road (grab the crystal in the middle and start to concentrate on the fireball shooting enemy next to the statue, the other ones will come by, you only need to mash X-button and if you have enough rage use earthquake or other stage covering spells)

*) Blades of Death (also without enemy spawn)

*) Blades of Death evening version (same as above)

*) Deadly Passage (also same as above but this time you need to watch for the level as your route to the final boss will not be through this level; just take when you are on the "Fork in the Road" level the second time the right door and fight your way through the follwing room which is the one where you had that annoying needle field the first time and go through the next door)

*) Underground Hall (you can kill the boss without ever leaving the corridor you start in and he cant touch you while you wait in there; just time the button combination x,x,rt correctly and he should go down on 5 shots)

*) Finale (once the cutscene finished press immediately back euqip light spell to a button of choice and also light mode, then buy rage max item to fill your bar and once you quit this menu activate light mode and start to spam the button you put the light beam attack on, you wil be able to trigger Jay in an endless loop if you keep on pressing the assigned button and refreshing your rage bar with more items every time it runs out)

Basically i mentioned 7 levels here as like stated above you might miss out Deadly Passage the second time (like i did). Also the last two levels are great to flawless victory a boss.
NOTE: YoshiMiyamoto has another nice idea of how to handle the Fork in the Road level just check out the comments (credit goes to him of course)

Another strategy for Fork in the Road is to immediately run into the level and smash the statue behind the fireball shooting enemy. If you do that without getting hit you can stand in the alcove there and just shoot the enemies with very little chance of getting hit - just concentrate on the fireball throwers first until they don't spawn anymore. Nice solution!

Fork In The Road: You can also just stand at the entrance when spawning and just shoot. Manual save when spawning in. Had only one enemy come close, but with the fiery blockade messing up your vision, it can be risky.

If they stop spawning, kill the fire guys. If hit, reload your manual save.

There are 4 levels in the game you should make sure that you complete with zero hits taken.

1. The room with the falling blades
2. The room with the spinning blades
3. The room with the spinning blades (evening)
4. The room before the final boss where you shoot the one monster without leaving the corridor you start in.

If you need two more levels after beating the game, start up a new game on Easy. To beat the first two levels of the game without getting hit, constantly purchase Rage (it only costs 1 soul).

On level 1, shoot the first set of dinos from afar. Then when you get earthquake, buy rage and use earthquake a few times. Buy rage again on the ice enemy to take him out quickly with fireballs.

Level 2 is easy enough with constant running and blasting fireballs when given enough room.

So this doesn't need to be accomplished in 1 play through?

Correct, it is cumulative across multiple playthroughs and difficulties

1-2 : Easy one, in this game you have 2 rooms without monsters -> only some jump so you can get no damage if you want.
3 : The first room in the game is really easy in easy mode, kill some mobs with your guns and aoe (and don't forget to buy enough mana, only cost 1 :p)
4 : The first boss, just use fire spell when you run and buy mana (it will unlock another achievement).
5 : After the first boss you have good place to do it too, they only come from one way, buy mana if you want and use your guns.
6 : The last room of the game (before the final boss), you have only one monster to kill ... and it's pretty easy to do it.

You can do this achievement everywhere ! If you get 0 damage in 2 rooms in hard mode and you try to do it in easy mode, don't try to do it in the same rooms (it won't work) but they'll count if you get 4 others rooms in easy mode.

Hope that helps you :)

It's even easier then that.

The two rooms with no monsters, just the spike traps, count twice. Once for Day and again for Evening. Then the last room before the final boss, just stay in the tunnel and follow the command prompt to take out the lone enemy.

Finally, The Finale is really easy. Stay locked onto the boss, spam your light spell, buy rage when you run out since well, it's the last level...and just keep jumping away from him. I was amazed at how easy it was.

There are 4 trap levels in the game (regular and evening) that are pretty easy to not get hit. If you do get hit, just die and restart the level. Including acing the boss level, that is 5 you can do pretty easily. Another easy one is any level with only ground enemies that cannot shoot or have limited shooting enemies. Fork in the Road comes to mind as an easy level to ace or the level where you obtain Wide Shot for the first time (The Dungeon). Similar to the boss fight in the Underground Hall, you can stand in the initial hallway and defeat all enemies from afar.

Credit goes to Vyrastas for The Dungeon and The Underground Hall.

To get this trophy, you need to complete six different levels without losing health - you cannot re-complete the same level six times. The easiest way to get it is by playing at the next levels; at all other levels, getting the trophy will be much more difficult, and you will only waste time.

  • Deadly Passage
  • Dead Passage (Evening)
  • Blades of Death
  • Blades of Death (Evening)
  • Underground Hall
  • Finale

See the "Flawless Victory" trophy for hints on the Underground Hall level. And during the level, just fire at the boss with Light blast. When you run out of anger, use the beam bottles and continue. It's best to attack him in light form - your light blasts will deal more damage and the cost of anger will decrease.

The trophy is cumulative, you can get it in two playthroughs... but I recommend doing it on normal in the first one. Levels can be chosen arbitrarily... but they must be completely different locations. You cannot replay the same level. If you receive a blow that causes health damage, let the character die and restart the level. My recommendations:
  • "Deadly Passage" / "Dead Passage" (Evening) - These two levels with 4 traps (falling guillotine). You just need to rush past them using a forward roll - left analog stick L3 forward + ...a very tricky combination, I couldn’t do it the first time. I’ll say right away that for this to work, the left stick and button on your gamepad must work perfectly ...without any sticking there.
  • "Blades of Death" / "Blades of Death" (Evening) - These two levels are very simple. There is only one slowly rotating cylinder with knives. Just carefully walk over it and that's it.
  • "Underground Hall" - Also not difficult, just read the trophy hint below: Flawless Victory and complete it.
  • "Finale" - The final mission. Fight with Jay. Everything is very simple:
As soon as the video ends and the battle begins, immediately press select , go to the menu and install the ability Ray of Light . Then select the "upgrades" section and buy Max Rage - this will fill your rage gauge. That's it, now go into battle...constantly spam the Ray of Light ability and carefully monitor the rage scale. As soon as the rage ends, press select again and go to the menu to purchase Max Rage . Follow this procedure until you completely defeat the boss.

After receiving the powers of light, there will be a location where you will be taught new types of shooting. It’s easy not to take damage if you shoot everything without leaving the arch.
